“Visited here in Feb 2016. Inn, bar and restaurant in the centre of the village. Had some excellent food here but we were a bit underwhelmed by the beer selection - four rather boring hand pumps (no guest ales as far as I could tell) and the usual selection of craft beer in bottles (Brewdog, Goose Island, etc.). The bar area was also very crowded and noisy on the Friday evening that we were here. My suggestion would be to eat here and have a drink at the micropub across the street.“

“Visited here in Feb 2016. This is a micropub in the centre of the village. Had four real ales and (I think) four real ciders on when I was there. Super-friendly service, even when I managed to spill my wife’s glass of wine across most of the table and also myself. A real highlight of our trip to this village and a much more relaxing atmosphere than the bar of the inn across the road where we were staying. Highly recommended!“

92 /100 2 HIGH STREET,
“Been a few times now, lovely setting on the High Street and lovely designed room. Very friendly staff and extremely helpful. Dog-Friendly too and a great place to go after a little wander around the village. Love the place and am fortunate to work around the corner!“
