Worsley Old Hall (Restaurant)
WORSLEY PARK
“Opposite the very nice Marriott hotel complex and accessed via the same road, this pub recently changed hands and now has a real focus on changing real ales. The beautiful Old Hall itself, a large self-standing building surrounding on three sides by the car park and the other by a large green area is unchanged and remains an appealing piece of history for the area. The inside has been modified, mainly to move the bar to a central ’Cheers’ like position and there’s now multiple rotating ales on two rows of 7 pumps and it’s worth checking both sides of the bar before ordering. The rest of the interior retains its glorious country house decor and style with plenty of wood paneling throughout. Food is served here and the main reason for most to come here.“

60 /100 WORSLEY BROW
“This interesting large old building which still sports original fireplaces and stoves as part of the new refurbished and tidy chain pub-cum-restaurant. It’s stood the test of time with the various motorways, slip roads and main roads that now surround it as well as a new build hotel. You might visit this place if you’re staying there otherwise it’s a great choice to come to if your on one of the major roads passing it as it’s right on the Junction 13 roundabout of the M60. There’s car parking all around the pub and a number of outdoor seats too. Crucially there’s 10 ale pumps around the bar although some of them double up. It predominantly rotates Greene King ales given the pub is owned by them but its selection comes from a wide range of the brewers numbers, however there’s usually a guest or two here as well.“

“This is a large pub in its own building by the canal. There’s clearly been some money invested in the fixtures, fittings and furniture here as its a fairly plush place and popular for it. Food is also popular and you may need to book a table at the weekend - maybe ask for one by an open fire as there are several in here. It has 9 ale pumps around an L shaped bar in the centre of building and includes a better than average selection. There’s a large car park and tables to sit at outside.“
