| 66 /100 Slijterij Saendyck (Beer Store) GUISWEG 35 “Mid-sized liquor store on the way from the train station to Zaanse Schans. Half of the shelves are taken by beer. It looks a bit messy but that gives the place a home-feel. There's a bit of everything everywhere. Selection is mainly Belgian and Dutch, all the usual suspects and classics with a few nice surprises in the selection. Not necessarily high quality surprises, but in the sense of small / unknown breweries. No 'modern' or crazily expensive beers sold here, so no cans of hazy IPA's or pastry stouts. Decent prices, friendly service. Won't visit often but would return every now and then.“ |

| 68 /100 LAGEDIJK 69 “Brand new brewery/brewpub/restaurant, visited on a sunny Friday afternoon, a few days after they opened the place. Spacious, modern, neat looking place, friendly staff, relatively small patio but that will change in time, only Breugem beers so far (he’ll be brewing here for himself as well as for Hoop, IIRC.). Didn’t see any bottles. Hoop beers will be available somewhere end of June. Didn’t try the food yet, but will be back soon to try some, and update my rating. So far it looks nice and a welcome addition to the Zaanstreek.“ |
| 72 /100 LAGEDIJK 69 “Net geopend in mei 2016. Erg gasvrij ontvangen door een van de personeelsleden. Geheel nieuw opgetrokken pand met dito brouwinstallatie. De brouwerij was nog niet operationeel. Op dit moment wordt er vooral breugem geschonken, daar komt straks nog een eigen bier bij. Verder is er een restaurant met terras aanwezig. Toko lijkt veel potentie te hebben, ben benieuwd hoe het er oer een paar maanden voorstaat als de brouwerij operationeel is.“ |

The owner even sells his own homebrew dubbel and trippel (which were quite nice!). Has a good selection of spirits and even has acouple of vintages of different beers (eg. chimay)....Nice layout to the store but the only small drawback is it is abit pricey.“ |
