“Visited 7/4/2022. Was just a quick visit on our last evening in Bath. Modern place close to train station. Beer range was average for a BrewDog. It was very busy. Decent vibe.“

“Visited 5/4/2022. First time for some years. Hadn’t changed a bit. Still a super heritage pub. 5 ales on offer including the mainstays of Bass and Abbey Ales Bath Bellringer. Do like this pub though don’t expect a dozen ticks here, just plenty of character and characters.“

“Visited 5/4/2022. Small place, on the edge of central Bath close to JDW’s and Bath Brew House. Coming up to 1 year old. 10 taps and maybe 100 cans/bottles. Good service. Good cheeseboards.“

“Visited 5/4/2022. 7 of their own beers available on this visit, in flights, 4 cask and 3 on tap. 5 new to RateBeer. Smattering of other beers available. For a Tuesday lunchtime visit it was quite busy. Food appeared popular. Service was very friendly. Good music playing. Cask beers were okay, but highlight was the enigma hop IPA on tap. Enjoyable visit, definitely one to come to if in Bath. And looking at Cheeseboard’s rating from Feb 2020 they seem to have used Covid downtime to really spruce the place up.“

“Visited 4/4/2022. Positioned just at the end of Pulteney Bridge. Happened to arrive as happy hour started (4-6pm Mon-Fri) with 20% off taps so got off to a good start. 10 taps and 6 box ciders available plus maybe 500 (so the sign says) cans/bottles mostly UK but with some from further afield on the shelves at the back. Decent service, good music played, relaxing vide. Good visit.“

“Visited 4/4/2022. Very interesting selection of non-UK bottled beer. Mostly modern UK canned selection much of which isn’t refrigerated. Very limited on local ales. Service was ok. Prices pretty good.“

“Modern bar overlooking the railway station, making it a handy finishing point for a day in Bath. Friendly, open style bar with St Austell and Bath Ales taking up the taps. Seems very popular, busiest pub of the day, but little new on the beer front.“

“Newly opened at the time of my visit, within sight of the railway station and just a couple of minutes walk. It is a smarter version of the Brewdog chain, on 2 floors, the lower has a barn like feel, the upper is more comfortable. The bar set up is typical Brewdog but the staff were very new and seemingly untrained, which is odd with this chain. Good choices of beers, but it was a struggle to get what I wanted.“

“Large, single roomed pub in the shopping centre of Bath. Away from the tourist hotspots this appeared to be a locals and shoppers retreat pub. Restricted on the beer front on my visit, quite quiet and echoing.“

“Took a little while to locate this but get to Kingsmead Square and head towards the flats and it's on your left. It's a small. friendly bottle shop cum bar, more bar really. There are tables and chairs to the front but it was a bit cold for that on the day. The bar is directly in front as you enter the single room, there are 10 beers on tap, the seating inside is in the bay windows and to the right. Hard working owner that covers everything, including the marvellous toasties. Well worth a visit.“

3 ARGYLE STREET, PULTENEY BRIDGE
“I walked to this place along the river from the Railway Station up to the Pulteney Bridge, climbed the steps and behold, Beercraft is opposite. There are a couple of tables outside and a very inventive window display. The small bar is on the right on entering with 10 keg lines and an electronic beer list above. The bottle shop is a little tight to get round, seating in the windows and towards the rear, there is additional seating downstairs. The beers were a little samey on my visit, but a top place to visit in Bath.“

“Bottleshop close to the famous Pulteney Bridge, with approx 6 taps for drink in / growler fills. Good range of bottles and cans from the UK, Europe and the US. It's not cheap but that'll be rent related I assume. I'd have preferred to see more of the stock refrigerated given that it's mostly just sat on shlves in a warm shop.“

“Large, shabby chic pub / brewpub. This place needs some investment, it's grotty, there are fruit flies eveywhere and the gents toilets were frankly disgusting. Tried a few of the beers brewed on site, they were mostly rammed full of lactose, milkshake IPAs and the like. Lazy brewing. I'm unlikely to go back.“

“Nice flower decoration outside. A rather small and cozy traditional pub with two rooms. Five cask ales. Visited by students and tourists. Back street location in central part of town, just off New Bond Street. A bit slow and rather inattentive service. (Visited with Finn 27.10.2019).“

“Excellent beer shop with well arranged drink-in options spread over a few tables and chairs in the front and to the rear of the room. Six craft beers on the taps that can be obtained in thirds on a beer flight. Well- stocked and arranged beers on the shelves, including a section of local breweries. Friendly and helpful service. Located right to the left when walking over the Pulteney Bridge in a touristy part of town. (Visited with Finn 27.10.2019).“

“Visited July 2019. Busy on this Tuesday night, telling you it will take an hour before your food will arrive. They have several beers from their own, to my taste not the best condition.. Staff seems very busy ( maybe even a bit stressed ).. I am not to keen on sharing my food and beer with lots of small flies...“

“Looks like an independent off licence, but inside lurks a great welcome and four beers on tap, with always something local. If you don't fancy any of those, then there's always 500+ bottles and cans on the shelves to drink in or take away. The entertaining window displays bring curious tourists in - and they often stay for a drink! Food? Just crisps! Highly recommended“

“Most selection you will find in Bath - also can drink all of the beers in which is a huge plus, they have chillers that make em cold in like 2 minutes its the best thing ever. Plus 4 beers on tap with always at least a local brew on - good stuff.“
