“Brown and Green is but a short detour off the motorway if one is looking for some Staffordshire beers/place rate. It is premium food purveyor located within the Trentham Shopping Village complex. The beer selection is in excess of 50 bottles, with a strong emphasis on local real ales. In addition to that they have some regional crafty stuff from Wild Beer Co and the like. There is also some local cider in bottles and also a few polypins for growler fill. They do a good sausage roll to provide sustenance. A decent enough stop.“

“Mainly a cheese shop selling an excellent range. Small number of beers mainly from Cheshire. I was told by the very helpful person in the shop that their own label beers are brewed by the Staffordshire Brewery at Leek. Prices where good and well worth visiting if you want to purchase some Cheshire beers and check out the cheese.“

“The former Country Larder store, with very much the same selection as before - with the emphasis on local breweries - Lymestone, Titanic, Shugborough, Slaters, Wincle etc, with a few from further afield. A trifle on the expensive side, but worth a look.“

“In the premises of what was peviously The Food Larder.The beer selection is part of a shop specialising in organic and local produce. Although the celection is not very big and rather expensive it is still worth visiting. Staff are very friendly and if you are at Trentham Gardens it is worth a visit.“
