62 /100 GORAMS MILL LANE Atmospheric old pub in a dip behind the large Royal Oak freehouse on the main road. It has tiled floors and large wooden backed benches by a fireplace in its front room and is more dining friendly in others - it's a wonderful place to stop and spend some time. I visited in teh summer but the various fireplaces are clearly in use so winter would be enjoyable in here too. There was just the one ale available on my visit (maybe a post-covid thing) - a gravity pour from the local Earl Soham Brewery at a Monday special of £2 a pint. Has outdoor seating at the rear. |
