48 /100 Bradley Villa Farm Shop (Beer Store) BRADLEY BAR ROUNDABOUT, BRADFORD ROAD Occupying a farmhouse and yard area on the corner of a busy crossroads, the motors entrance and exit to this farm shop are on the two different roads it sits on. The ale selection wasn't extensive, but I found the real ciders here more interesting. |
50 /100 Royal and Ancient (Bar) 19 DALTON BANK RD On the eastern side of the River Colne, just before it empties into the River Calder, it's in a pleasant valley setting, although still urban in its make-up. The pub in its own building is above the road with some parking available opposite on the road. Inside the rooms face the road with the bar against the back wall, here a couple of Marston regular ales are available, so nothing too exciting. The pub itself is comfortable and large enough to be serve food. I was the only person in here on a Thursday afternoon so not much was happening, but I get the impression it's a family oriented place. |
50 /100 Royal and Ancient (Bar) 19 DALTON BANK RD Nice spacious area with lovely decor. Unfortunately, not a great deal of choice on the taps. It’s a nice pint, but not an exciting something-new-every-time pint. From what we saw, the restaurant does a decent trade here and the prices looked reasonable. We might have to pop back and try it! |
32 /100 Bradley Villa Farm Shop (Beer Store) BRADLEY BAR ROUNDABOUT, BRADFORD ROAD Above all else this is a farm shop, however they do like to rotate a local ale from time to time. If you’re in picking up other things - there might be a bottle or two for you. |
