80 /100 Tamura’s Fine Wine & Liquors (Aiea) (Beer Store) 98-302 KAMEHAMEHA HWY A pretty decent selection of Hawaii beers, regional and west coast US craft, and a handful of Japanese beer, too. A fair amount kept cold and the bombers on the opposite shelf at room temp. I snagged a bunch of Big Island beers while there. Prices seem high, but also normal for the area. While there, grab some Poke, it’s fantastic. |
58 /100 SWAM: Shiroma’s Wine and More (Beer Store) 98-1277 KAAHUMANU ST Small bottle shop with a small but solid selection of beers. Picked up a 4-pack of the limited release of Bourbon County Brand Stout for 6,50$ each. A few other limited released beers was available but in general small selection. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The store is located in a outdoor shopping centre so it is easy to find free parking. No beers was refigerated. |
88 /100 Tamura’s Fine Wine & Liquors (Aiea) (Beer Store) 98-302 KAMEHAMEHA HWY Tamura’s is my go to spot for anything craft beer in Aiea. The prices are reasonable for Hawaii and the selection is outstanding for being way out here and not back on the mainland. Great for Japanese craft beer all the way to Westcoast brewers and of course local. Also keep updated with seasonal beers from various brewers and special editions etc. |
80 /100 SWAM: Shiroma’s Wine and More (Beer Store) 98-1277 KAAHUMANU ST Tried this place while I was staying at Ford Island for some meetings. This is a wine shop with a decent beer selection, local stuff plus a fair amount of Belgians. Well organized. Prices are OK for the area. Owners are friendly and helpful. |
90 /100 SWAM: Shiroma’s Wine and More (Beer Store) 98-1277 KAAHUMANU ST I was so happy to stumble upon this little gem. A great selection craft brews at a good single bottle rate. The service is spot on with good knowledge of what is on the shelf. A must stop if you are looking for craft beer in the Pear Harbor, Aiea, Waimalu Area. |
