88 /100 ROTTENBURGER STRASSE 28
“We visited here Friday 11th February 2022. The brewery is on the edge of town and fairly easy to locate. I understand that it is open three Fridays a month, and I think that they are planning on having an occasional Thursday night openings, but for both options, it is best to consult the regularly updated website or Facebook. There is usually food on a Friday evening and when we were there was a pizza wagon which also offered some Italian meals like lasagne and salads, there was a great choice of pizza types and they were really great also prices were very reasonable. There is seating outside, with a tented over area with heaters and large bench tables, there is further seating inside, and this is where the bar is also situated. I think that there were 3 beers on tap but others from the Pillmaier range could be purchased in bottles to drink in or take away. There was also a lot of merchandise available, much of it handmade and really nice quality, we really loved the setup. In terms of atmosphere, there is clearly great support from the local community and on our visit, there must have been 50+ people in attendance. It was also super nice to see a really great mixture of folk, with work colleagues, families, couples, and all ages attending. We got chatting with quite a few folks, in German and English, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The beers were great, we particularly liked the Chinook Weisse which was available on tap only at the brewery. Armin (brewer) came across and spent time chatting with myself and Loz and shared a Winter Bock and also a beer that his father-in-law who is a keen homebrewer had made, both were very good. We will definitely be heading here again in the near future and I would recommend that anyone in the area on one of the regular Friday night openings, pay this place a visit, you'll not regret it!“
