“Part of brewery-restaurants chain. Not so bad as it sounds. 3 decent classics - Hell, Weiss & Dunkel, all in good form. Place feels more like a modern pizzeria/cafe than anything close to beer theme. Food was good.“

“Visited on Saturday 07/02/15. Part of a small chain, have visited one in Ulm also, but the one in Memmingen, located approximately a ten minute walk from the Hbf, is a much nicer venue. Kind of has the feel of a modern craft beer bar in the US, lots of glass, open and airy, table and boot seating and a beer patio. Beers are simply OK but nothing special. The place was very busy with largely a young crowd eating, which we did and the food was good. Memmingen doesn’t have a lot to offer on the beer front and this is likely the premier venue.“

“Visited on Sunday 08/02/15. Located bang opposite Memmingen station. Single roomed local with some Memminger beers on tap and in bottle to take away (useful for a quick train pick up). The couple of times I’ve been here I or my group have been pretty much the only ones in here bar one local perhaps. Overall just a place to kill 20 or 30 minutes between trains but it fulfills a purpose in this respect.“

“Another in the chain offering good beer and food at going rates. The schwarze is as good as ever. Large indoor and outdoor areas. Free wifi if you ask nicely they give you a hotel password.“

“Popped in for a late drink and is a minute from Barfuser. Used to have Memminger beers on now has a range of nationals. Quite a smart restaurant feel to it. Good service. don’t expect many new rates“

“Visited twice, hotel on top if you don’t want to stumble too far. Large single roomed modern venue at the edge of town about 10 mins from station. Pizza oven seemed popular. 3 beers available from on site brewery which aren’t world beating. Service a little slow too. If you stay you get a free beer too. “

“UPDATE. Feb 2015. No longer a tap house for Memminger. Just common regional offerings on tap such as Ayinger Hefe Weisse. Visited for a late lunch on Monday July 25th, 2011. This place is a hotel and resturant and has no bar like qualities, just like sitting in a restaurant to be blunt. As such a little on the dull side, only 25/30 % full on our visit but it was a Monday. Modern decor but a little dated, pleasant enough and clean though - just lacking in atmosphere. Service and food were good. Beer choice is pretty good for Germany. This place acts as a tap for the local Memminger brewery - my notes state 5 or 6 of their beers available plus some bottles from Brauerei Wittnau and Ulmer - Munster Brauerei. Worth stopping by for the beer range and food despite the moon like vibes!“
