74 /100 Kalt-Loch-Bräustüble (Restaurant) HAUPTSTRASSE 201 No real bar to have beers at. Several tables inside and out. Nice pretty cozy restaurant. This place was not busy during our visit and service was pretty good. We did not try the food. Kalt-Loch beers available. Pricing are reasonable. It was a hot day and this place has air conditioning. I would come back. |
68 /100 Gasthaus Zum Riesen (Restaurant) HAUPTSTRAßE 99 The exterior is quite nice. This place is on the corner. The bar is in the center with tables around the perimeter. Service was a bit slow, but they speak English well. No air conditioning, so we got out of here as fast as I can. Selection was most of the Faust lineup. Small pours are available for draft beers. Pricing was reasonable. I would come back when it is not so hot. |
68 /100 HAUPTSTRASSE 219 Visited 10.10.17. Brewery shop with their entire range of beer, including experimental, "craft" expressions and nice souvenirs. Well-organized. |
78 /100 Gasthaus Zum Riesen (Restaurant) HAUPTSTRAßE 99 Visited early afternoon, 10.10.17. This is probably the most touristic place in a very touristic town, a restaurant that prides itself as the oldest hotel in Germany. However, Faust brewpub was closed for Schlafstudne and we didn't have much time to kill, so following the recommendation at the Faust store we headed there. It's one the those places that despite feeling touristic and busy, also manages to have some sense of locality, with people having their business lunch or family time there. Food menu is extensive and offers some vegetarian options and vegan tweaks. Beer is Faust, and small glasses are available - more ticks per liver! It was quite an enjoyable experience. |
68 /100 Faust Bräustüble (Restaurant) LOEWENGASSE 3 beautiul garden, good food and kind service. the schwarz is good, the pils quite god. |
60 /100 HAUPTSTRASSE 219 Brewery restaurant with 7 nice taps. Very hoppy zwikl is really great. Other 6 don’t disappoint either. |
54 /100 Faust Bräustüble (Restaurant) LOEWENGASSE 3 There is a very busy patio garden to this, heaving with tourists, which of course we were too. The good thing is that you can get a flight of sampler beers from the brewery, this tends to elevate you above the standard tourist in their eyes and you become a guest and if like us, receive a visit from the brewer / owner, I didn’t quite establish, but he took great interest in what we thought. The inside of the pub is more traditional and calm although seemed mostly catering for diners. Interesting. |
64 /100 Kalt-Loch-Bräustüble (Restaurant) HAUPTSTRASSE 201 cozy brewery tap in a typical half-timbered house, next door to the brewery (office). The pub inside is decorated with stained glass, "historical" wall paintings and red sandstone - typical for this part of Franconia. Service is O.K., food is O.K. and, ggod news, here You can sample the draught Kalomator-Doppelbock all the year round on draught ! Bottled beers are available at the brewery-office next door. |
74 /100 Faust Bräustüble (Restaurant) LOEWENGASSE 3 A "young", modern version of a brewery tap, kind of a "lounge", not the classical "Gemuetlichkeit", completed by a small patio - or little beer-garden - overlooking the river bank of the Main. Friendly service - young men with aprons ! It looks, as if they serve convenience food.........But all in all this is a fine place to sample the whole range of the Faust-Beers, which are served in all possible measures.
The Faust brewery is located next door, there’s a little shop, where You can buy bottled beers and several souvenirs.
The extremely picturesque little town of Miltenberg is worth a journey as well.......

54 /100 HAUPTSTRASSE 219 No pub, no brewery tap ! This is the adress of the brewery itself. The brewery tap, called "Faust-Bräustüble" is in the Löwegasse 3, just around the corner. The only intersting thing is the brewery-shop here; You can buy the whole range of Faust-beers plus a bundle of souvenirs here............... |
