| 64 /100 KONRAD-ADENAUER-PLATZ 1 “Visited on 2nd Feb 2020. Situated on the Aachen bound platform at Erkelenz station this is quite a smart looking brewpub/restaurant affair. Decor is super smart and modern and set up for dining more than ticking beers. 3 beers on the menu but only 2 on tap. A light and dark. Beer quality was OK, Service was decent enough. Prices not bad.
Stopped for an hour between trains so easy to visit. Now I've been I wouldn't make it a priority but a nice enough place“ |
| 54 /100 KONRAD-ADENAUER-PLATZ 1 “Visited on 5th July 2019. Nice place, modern and airy, we sat outside under the terrace canopy as it was a warm sunny day. Two of their beers on tap, both were very pleasant, an unfiltered Pilsener and an Alt. Very quiet at 14:00 on a Friday afternoon, just my wife and I plus one other customer. Inside all the tables were set for diners and it looked very smart, which is another reason we sat outside. My score looks low, but as they only had two of their beers and Bitburger on tap I can't really give it much for beer selection!“ |
