“Swung over after picking up the rental car. Nice space with too rooms/bars and some outside seating. Only one bar running on Wednesday afternoon. Street parking is easy to grab. Extensive tap list - perhaps three dozen beers, including a super wide range of styles. Good service, but bar only. No flights, but they have 4 or 6 oz pours of everything at reasonable prices. Beer quality is high. I tried six beers and all were solid for style, with a couple of standouts. Both BA beers were exceptional. This is very much worth the visit.“

“Nice beer garden in an industrial park, roomy in nice weather, good selections of beers, I gravitated toward the stronger Stouts. Nice staff, dog friendly on outside.“

“Back of an industrial park along the suburban Kennedy. Only street parking, but seems to have opposite hours as the rest of the industrial park. Inside it is two front rooms with the brewing behind. Music theme, on the walls (the blue room has a wall of vinyl records) and in the beer names. 2 bars, one room with long tables, the other with high cocktail tables. As well noted, the beer is quite good, well executed. About 20 of their own taps, and 7 guests, plus "beer slushies" from the berlinerweisses. You order at the counter, and enjoy. They have a note about 60oz of beer all that they will serve to someone - shrug? Multiple size choices, plus carryout for about 60% of the taplist. Music was themed (Valentine's Day was romcom and a Sat night was heavy metal). Games, other stuff to do, but not a kid place. Dog inside one of the days. Open air patio to the street & industrial park with a garage door may be nice (?) on a summer night. No food, but food trucks regularly, supposedly & local delivery. The beer is the draw, and the place does not detract.“

“Really cool lay out and design, friendly place. Strong selection of ipas and stouts on draft and available in bottle. One of the better tap rooms in Chicago.“

“9/15/18 (Elk Grove Village): First trip to Mikerphone, highly recommended beers from brother and friends. It's a hike from the city, but worth the trip. Small seating area, nice clean facility. Bar seats for several, and a few long tables. Nice speakers on the wall pumping in very good music. Nice crowd on this Saturday afternoon, many coming in for pick bottles and place full for the most part during my entire stay. Twelve draft pours of various styles. Excellent bartenders who really love beer, like discussing their beers and others, and awesome comp samples of special ad hoc blends such cinnamon toast crunch infused Imperial Bean Spirit. I had three excellent beers and brought several more bottles to go. Was able drink two Super Bean Spirit pours, great introduction to the brewery. Well worth the trip out to the burbs, went back a week later and look forward to future trips!“

“Fairly small venue, bottles to go sold out back. When I arrived, there was a line to get in and buy beer... the approach seems a bit inefficient. Decent enough ambiance, friendly staff.“

“Smallish place, a few tables and a bar with the brewhouse visible behind. Very much white and blue. Electric guitars around. All the beer names are music references. The beers themselves are going after trends, but are generally quite good. No flights but 6 ounce pours are available for $3.50-$5.00. Bottles and crowlers of most things available. Bartender was enthusiastic and helpful. A little pricy but well worth a stop.“
