94 /100 1106 BUSHVILLE HWY "Off the beaten path," as a previous user noted is true ... about 10 miles off either I-10 or I-49, in a rural area not far from Lafayette. After a couple left, I was the only person there on a mid-Friday afternoon. They have both their locally available products plus a lot of others on tap ... I think I counted 24. I had three small pours of some strong beers I hadn't seen in other places, and all were outstanding. The indoor and outdoor spaces are inviting. The staff was friendly, unintruding and very beer knowledgeable. Definitely worth a stop-by if you're ever within range. Brewery #839. |
90 /100 1106 BUSHVILLE HWY Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Large selection of their own beers (ca 12) and some from other near by breweries. The five I tasted were all high quality brews (IPAs and stouts). Also brews two beers for the local UoL Cajuns, which is nice. Large outside sitting area. |
76 /100 1106 BUSHVILLE HWY Visited Bayou Teche last week after trying a couple of their offerings in New Orleans. Loved the place - rocking chairs on the open patio. Great music on Saturdays. Beer selection limited to their own. Polite, laid back service and good value. Off the beaten path a bit but that’s the way I like it. Loved chatting with Floyd! I will go there again given the opportunity.
