“I live in this hood and have lived here since the brewery opened up. I’m very familiar with it. A) beer quality and selection. Lots of taps. Like 20, which is great. However, it’s like 75% hoppy stuff. But the quality of beer has gotten much better since it opened, especially the lagers. Usually, I’m happy with the lagers and love their slow pour tap. B) Space, large space with different seating, high tops, low tops, bar. Seat yourself and order at bar and get a placard where food it or be brought. Very easy and simple. Some outdoor seating but it’s just the sidewalk of a busy street across from a 7-11. Some TVs but you can sit at a spot far away from them. Best of both worlds. 4 clean pissers and one shitty baby changing station. C) location is a worthy and active Bmore neighborhood. A strong advantage for this space is the neighborhood is fun and full of stuff. D) Food, fun spins in standard pub fair (e.g., cool burgers, fancy wings). Fries need more salt. E) prices are typical for a hipster-ish brewery. Hours could be better. For visitors to town it’s worth a visit bc of location and beer quality/selection is good enough. You can have or pass on food and it’s worth it for all that. Also, you are within walking distance of 2 (maybe soon 3) other breweries.“

“Visited the other day. I only came out here cause I’m ticking breweries in Baltimore and now I have to expand to the county. I’ve lived in Bmore for 6 years (MD for 8) and have never visited Dundalk. I’m still not sure if I have cause this place is in the middle of nowhere. While the place is built to support future growth, the taproom seems like a formality. While I like the breweriana decorating the walls and the outdoor seating, I don’t really want to visit. The patrons all seemed local, there isn’t any scenery and - most importantly - the beer offerings were not exciting. There were 9 beer taps (plus a cider, seltzer, and a beer blend). Of the 9, 7 were all available canned throughout the city. Meaning that the about $2.50 for a 5oz pour, one would be much better off just buying a single at a store. But there were 2 non-canned ticks for those really seeking to pad their ratings (I pity the fool). Even more annoying to me was that 7/9 beers were hop-centric. It’s very old school and DIY wood bar and tables. Live music often available, seemingly. Good truck outside on a Saturday. Bag of old bay crab chips for sale inside. I can’t imagine visiting the place again, but do drink their beers, which are fine.“

“Went here on a trip back east about 7 or 8 years ago. Had talked to a couple of people from our area who said you have to try their beers. It was late afternoon when we got there and were browsing their beer list when the power went out. They said that everyone had to leave and if you wanted any beer, it was cash only because their card readers were disrupted by the power outage. Purchased a mixed 6 pack and left. Hard place to find as it was down under a bridge. Had a couple of the beers in our hotel and brought the other 4 home. Was not impressed by the beer, maybe I was expecting too much because I had great reviews from people out here.“

“RATINGS OUT OF DATE. This place used to be a associated with Stillwater Brewing and carried almost exclusively their beer (I believe the owner is related to Brian from Stillwater). Nowadays, this just has a selection of beer. In short, this has pricey food and drinks (that isn't worth the price for me) but all are well curated. A cool and hipster-ish vibe to the place. Seemingly, more into wine (and cocktails) than beer nowadays. This used to be a destination to try like every Stillwater beer but now its not. So, don't go out of your way but if you don't mind the price and want an ok enough beer selection along with other ypes of drinks, come here.“

“This place has 5 taps, one of which is Utica Club. The other 4 are decent mix of stuff. This is a pricey place that tries to look like it is not too fancy. Cool spot with decent enough food (for the cost). But do not come here for the beer.“

“This is located in Hampden by Johns Hopkins next to a number of interesting small businesses. Place is really big. Bartenders are pleasant. They have food but I did not partake. I think they had something like 20 beers on draught. Quality was generally pretty good but nothing really was great. 4 ounce pours were affordable. Nice design and stuff inside. Pleasant.“

“Turned this old Catholic church into a brewery and lovely taproom. Huge! Brewhouse occupies the spot where the altar used to be. Long bar all by the right side. Tables occupy the rest, including a few of the old pews. Good service, decent beer. Amen!“

“Definitely a must visit. 100 taps, all styles, lots of regional and impressive German and Belgian selections. Food available. Loooong bar, the rest is like a sports bar. Great service too. I could spend the day here.“

“Around the corner from my hotel, so convenient for me. Stones throw from the Inner Harbor. 6 Oliver taps and a few others. Lots of foot traffic from the tourists, quiets down as you get colder to closing. Service is good, but unenthusiastic. Food available, did not eat. If you're doing the tourist thing, this is right in the wheelhouse“

“Open interior is inviting, and has an intimate feel. Bartenders are quick to help, friendly without being intrusive. Selection is not super, but they have some great local brews - Oliver Brewing owns them so naturally their beers are featured. Food is good, if a tad speedy. Definitely worthy of a visit.“

“Cool looking smaller place built in an old industrial brick building around a brick smokestack. Homey kind of feel here. If you've been around the area a lot of the stuff on tap is stuff you've seen around before, with about half their taps new ticks for me. Friendly service, half pints available but no flights, as the wifi password says. Friendly and full here, neighborhood kind of feel. I had a pizza which was pretty good. Beer was definitely above average, I typically like most of their stuff.“

“Cool place just a few minutes walk from Penn Station. Old brick building with a modern spacy interior. I was there when they were doing brunch on a Sunday. Friendly bartenders and clients. Beer mostly sticks to pedestrian old world styles, things like British pub beer and German lagers. But they do this all very well--didn't have a bad beer when I visited. Brunch looked good but I'd already eaten. Flights available but bartender picks. I just told her to give me all the beers--two flights of 12.“

“Walked quite a ways to finally visit what I thought was a Baltimore beer icon. Was disappointed! It's a beautiful, unique venue, in an old early-century townhouse. But the big glass window overlooking a busy street, emblazoned with "Black Lives Matter" kinda spoils the vibe. The staff was a bit stuffy and standoff-ish, which basically characterized the whole visit. They had six beers on tap, all a bit unique in style. The Belgian-tilted golden ale was OK, my wife's choice wasn't that great. Bummer. Brewery #961.“

“Squeezed in with the crowd after a Ravens game. So to be fair, my impression is based on a pretty quick, visit to a packed venue. Staff was friendly, so were the patrons. Tried two beers, both pretty decent. Nothing noteworthy, but then again it's getting harder to be noteworthy these days. Worth a stop if you're in the area. Brewery #960.“

“Restaurant-looking place in part of B-More with plenty of breweries. Lots of stuff on tap but we came in just as they were doing last call at 5pm on a Sunday, and they wouldn't serve us food. Anyway, they close pretty early. Beers were mostly average. Not sure I'll rush to come back.“

“Went in here with a group for a birthday brewery crawl in Baltimore. Pretty good tap list, with a few of their classic mainstays and a bunch of stuff I've never seen before. Their bottles were a little on the expensive side, but they were pretty good. We tried a barrel aged stout and a sour bottle. Flights available for everything on tap. Slow pours as well. Service was pretty bad--woman bartending had a ton of attitude. Food was decent, we had pizza and sausage. Cavernous big place with a trailer custom-made for Instagram photos. Lots of outside seating. Decent but not sure I'd rush to go back.“

“Went here on a birthday brewery crawl in B-More, this was the first stop. Big selection of beers in a relatively big place, with lots of indoor space in several rooms and a big patio space in the parking lot out back. A good variety of styles, though like most breweries these days the majority are IPAs of some sort. At least a few weren't hazies. Beer was mostly above average or good--I've liked these guys since they first started appearing. Flights or small pours weren't available when I was in because there was some sort of kid's birthday party there with like 10 people (the rest of the bar was nearly empty). If that's the criteria, then I'd imagine the 4oz pours are rarely available. Servers are rarely available. Lots of cans available to go as well. Kind of an older building. Service OK.“

“Easy to get to brewery just outside of downtown BAL with free parking onsite. Busy on a Wednesday night, seemed to be mostly locals. Very dog friendly. One bartender, she was working hard to get everyone their beers. The selection was a lot of their big sellers, with 1 or 2 surprises. We had a good time and would come back.“

“$14 cab out from the convention center on a lazy weekend afternoon right as they opened. Really ugly, abandoned corner storefront you think is the entrance, isn't(it's the large side door). Inside is a square box, poorly lit, some intentional graffito & art, thrown around tables & chairs, with a short, no sitting bar running the length of the right wall. Still looking pretty sparse. Beer wise: Attentive bartenders, printout or screen of taps(22 plus some seltzers). Start a tab, get a glass, have a walk around. Brew room is around the bend to the bathroom. Old fountain sink in there is a pita to use. Back in the center room you can peruse cans for sale or turn left to go outside or to the arcade room. Free arcades! Very little space to lay down your beer. Outside is a broken concrete, chain link & pallet wonderland. All somewhat underneath a too small circus tent. Live music sometimes, food trucks sometimes, hot AF, always. Steel seats just melt your ass. Go back inside & wander awkwardly till on of the few tables open up. Beer seems good though. $6-7 a full pour. Sours are light & fun, couple of Belgians I had we're muddled, flavored stout was tasty & not overdone. I didn't see any of the contract brew names out, just their own. Nothing insanely complex, but it was 92 degrees outside, so I wasn't complaining at the time. Overall, it seems worth it, but you won't die inside if you miss out.“

“Second closest bar from the convention center, second best hours. So yeah, only came here half as much as Kona. Ample seating in & out, long, skinny bar, couple of TV's tuned to sports, 2-3 bartenders even when it's slow. Place was constantly being wiped down or swept & that felt comforting. A pint starts at $7 plus tax. Nothing was earth shattering or even that good, but there were various styles available at all times, even a cider. Lots of ticking potential for travelers, but there's also a handful of semi-regional brews on, like seasonal Sierra Nevada. The house beers in general did not impress me. Food is decent, but the chipotle, Nandos or Kona at happy hour are better(& cheaper). Service is happy, willing to help, if a touch slow. It really depends on the hours you work. Come in super early, but avoid the rush around 9:30 or you'll have to swim to the bar.“

“Huge beautiful taproom located in the Union Collective complex. Immense taproom in an modern industrial setting, with restaurant on premise (pizza seem to be the most popular). “First stop in BWI trip. Starting solid. Big old school industrial building located in a residential area, with big patio with music, huge taproom, baseball Oriole theme. The beers were very nice and solid, service was decent. No flights or samples, unless they are not too busy (then they will serve free tastes). Beers are around 7 to 8$ mark per pour (8 to 16 ounces). Worth the trip.“

“Easy to walk neighborhood a short cab from the convention center. Old, historical factory, whatever, huge footprint. Very sketchy in between though. Very sad city. Attentive bartender, slow night, 10 taps. Lots of tables in the main bar area. Seating outside, seating upstairs, just about all family style 4 seats & up. Music is a touch too loud, bathrooms are plentiful, but oddly marked for ignorant Americans. Food has good flavor but missed on details. It's too expensive for what it is too, though I thought the beer was relatively cheap at $5 for several of the half liters. One big end of the night sorespot: Managers complaining about how X or Y manager doesn't do it like I would, drama XL, one stool away as I'm eating, going on 20 minutes now. So... good to great classic styles of beer, good service, so-so food. Cheers.“

“Place right on campus in Baltimore with a lot of decent taps, plenty of local stuff. Flights available, and service is friendly. They have a nice patio as well. Decent selection of beers, probably makes this among the better Baltimore beer bars, though not quite at Max's level obviously. I had chicken tacos which were decent. Prices decent as well.“

“Amazing place. Huge Irish / American pub / sports bar with an obscene number of taps (there were minimum 80 beers on when we were there) and an uncountable number of bottles. Every style imaginable was covered, with a strong emphasis on Belgian beers. One very positive note for me was that you could order a taster of any draft beer, which means that even a light-weight like me could try a lot of different beers. Service was friendly and efficient. Food looked good but didn’t try any. An absolute must visit! Note that we found the surrounding area (the bar is in Fell’s Point) really cool, with lots of other bars and restaurants.“

“Rather large taproom on two levels. In the Inner Harbor area and next to an overpass. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff. Busy when we visited, particularly the upstairs part where there was a pub quiz being held. Tap list consisted of more than 20 beers, unfortunately no flights but half pint pours are available. The stand-out beer was the BBA Admiral Buck (a strong Bockbier), the rum BA Version was also good. Food was good (had the gumbo) though the portion was rather small for the price. Worth a look.“

“One of the most impressive breweries that I have ever visited, due to its location inside an old church. Huge airy venue with plenty of seating, the bar is along one wall and the brewkit is clearly visible at the back. There is a small section next to be bar with Merch. Tap list consisted of about 16 beers, covering a variety of styles. Flights are available. Beers were decent, particularly liked the Wispy pale ale and the 9.9 Problems imperial stout. Definitely worth a visit. Recommended!“

“So the ambience here is not the greatest , the decor reminded me of a warehouse canteen, however the staff are super friendly and the tap list is quite comprehensive. Had 16 of their own beers on plus a cider. One beer was on a hand pump. Offer flights and also small pours. I tried 5 or 6 beers and all of them were good or better. The stand-outs for me were the Key Lime Joose Canon and the Red Eclipse (BBA stout with cherries). They have a small corner next to the bar with some merchandise (unfortunately they didn’t have any T-Shirts left in my size) and some beers to go. There was a food truck outside when I visited selling burgers and gumbo, I had the latter and it was excellent. An absolute must visit, highly recommended.“

“Not your traditional neighbourhood brewery? If you are a craft beer lover, this is the place to go, plus a great place to bring your non-beer and foodie friends. A cool vibe inside and outdoor seating in the front. They offer cool merch and glassware. They have about 20 different beers on draft (some of them are local guest taps) with a variety of sours, stouts, and IPAs they constantly cycle through kegs, so every time you go in you get something new! Their food is amazing. Unique ingredients used in unique combinations! The food lives up to the hype. Otto say; It's always a joy in a place more when the staff enjoys their job and know about the beers they serve. 🙃“

“A great local Brewery serving up myriad of beer that tend to be average to good, especially high ABV beers! Their best beer IMO is their dessert Stout called Bulls-Eye. It's absolutely divine! Flights and pints available. A great ambiance and definitely more of a chill environment here. It has a family friendly crowd with a nice mix of young and old. A laidback vibe with super friendly staff who are awesome to chat with. Plus they 100% know their stuff about beer. You can really learn a lot from the folks here. Take a look at the amazing doors when you go in (that are kept open to bring in fresh air inside 😷). Inside the brewery is the main focal point and there is a merc shop in one corner. They have outdoor seating, too. They don't serve food here, but there are local food truck most evenings and great food next door at the Boilerplate. Just place your order and someone there will run it over to you. There’s also plenty of parking which is nice. This is a dog friendly Brewery. Otto say; If you're looking to get good pint and relax this is a good stop. 👊🏽“

“Located a little out of the way, but worth the trip into Dundalk! Great beer, friendly staff and a cool ambiance. A nice addition to the area. Nice open tap room with free pool, free pinball and table tennis plus a couple TVs. Occasional live music, plus food truck's. Also great outdoor seating and tons of room for social distancing. Dog friendly and easy going. The bar offers flights of any quantity, 10oz and 16oz pours, and growler fills. They have a half dozen taps pus can's. “A nice cool place to kick back and enjoy a brewery and it’s atmosphere. It’s in a place that might be hard to find but it’s worth a visit, if you are in Pigtown or Federal Hill. Parking is across the street at a lot, so not to far to walk. What's not to like? Knowledgeable and friendly staff, a very cool interior with exposed duct work and various sized tables and old fashioned seats, large glass windows that overlook where they brew the beer. There is also extra seating in an upstairs area. Oh! the poster artwork for each beer is so collectable. I am not certain if they sell these posters or not but they should, they are classics. Ten taps of ever changing quality well brewed beers. Limited food choices, but hey its all about the beer. Otto say; Delicious beer and laid back atmosphere. I definitely recommend.“

“A fantastic local brewery. Great variety of beers, you can find something for anyone. Love that there are games and different things to do that can keep adults and children occupied. Easy parking within the neighbourhood. Good availability of indoor and outdoor seating. There is no food served outside of a few bar snacks, but they have food trucks available most days and will always allow you to bring your own food. Dog friendly. “The Fells Point location is about 100 yards from the venerable Max's (which is really the reason you are here). It is a small venue that reeks of sports bar - which seems like many Baltimore pubs and bars. There is a large wooden bar and a scattering of high-tops and tables. Actually, it is an attractive place with a heavy brick and wood décor going for it. Then, there is the beer: 40 taps of a great diversity of styles, many of which are regional crafts. Of course, the major menu is burger. The burgers here come in a wild array and are magnificent. Burgers. Beer. Baltimore. What more do you need? “

“First off, there is no real signage. A faded placard with a hand scrawled name was about it. Inside its an old house style, bar area up front with several dining rooms in back. There is a basement as well that I did not check out. Not busy on a Sunday night. I did not ask about flights, which was apparently a mistake based on prior review. Oh well. They do have half pours, but during happy hour there is no savings there. I tried a couple of things that were pretty solid and ordered the garlic fries, which were good but a bit soggy. Service was quite good. I would go back. Prices were quite reasonable.“
