78 /100 LEŠETINSKÁ 366/14 This one is as rural as it gets, located in the fields surrounding Olbrachtice, with a barn opposite and long haired cows grazing around. Really nice place with a chilled out vibe. The brewery itself is very modern, with stainless steel all around and quite a lot of fermentors. They have some benches inside, though their opening hours vary - better to give them a call when you plan to pop in. Michał, the brewmaster, was formerly the mastermind behind Fabrica Rara, a Polish craft project that was quite ahead of its times, making interesting experiments with tea-infused beers. Anyway, the beers of Albrechticky Pivovar clearly stand out among other beers from this region - both the svetle and polotmave, as well as the american pale ale were very good, devoid of the common diacetyl problem. A trip from Ostrava is definitely worth it, but remember to call them to make sure they are open for visitors. |
