“Small bar with several types of cider (except natural cider), Service was really good. A must if you go to Nava (also, it’s really close to the museum).“

“Little bar with a big patio right across from the Cider Museum. Owners are super nice and very generous, but English is a bit spoty. Selection of all sorts of things, but not really a large selection of craft. They do however carry a few ice ciders. If you are in town, make yourself known and you will experience hospitality like no other.“

“Recieved a quick and dirty little tour by the mayor and if you are interested in Sidra and some of the classical machinery and process this is the place to visit. By no means exhaustive, but the town and ambiance of this town enhance the experience. They also have some on site for tasting.“

“A large and reasonably modern cidery with a large barrel room. Although not meant for visits, the owner is very passionate and will spend quite a bit of time talking about the process and his business. He doesn’t speak English, so have a guide to help out. We tried a ton of ciders from his barrels and would have had a chance to try more of his selection, but they are at the other production site.“

“Nice little kitsch place, in the heart of Nava, in the cider shire. One of the really few ones not pouring natural cider. Despite this, they have a really nice selection of international ciders (french, british, german) and lots of really nice asturian ice ciders, honey cider, perries, table cider, sparkling ciders, etc. Located just 100m away from the cider museum, it a must stop point in Nava. Really good ambiance and service, and nice terrace in the square outside.“

“Beautifil traditional llagar. The old one is filled with huge chestnut vats, and it is like an actual cider museum. Still employing traditional techniques, mills and pressing machines, they ferment only in wood vats. Quite hard cider, dry and tart.“

Museo de la Sidra (Beer Store)

“If you are interested in cider history this is the place to go. Here you can sense why cider is religion in Asturias. A nice display of old cider making tools, a few old-times recreations , some interisting facts stating that Asturias is probably the main cider producing and consuming region in Europe,a small store with some bottles. All of this in a nice building, but maybe best of all is this is in Nava, just few meters away from traditional llagares and lots of Sidrerias.“

“medium-sized building, complete interior tour with old equipment and machinery for the circular tour through the building. costs a few euro but was free the day i went. shop is open afterwards with bottles, shirts, glassware and other items. tour is in spanish only. i laughed towards the end at the piped audio and 1980s television feeds showing a ’txotx’ at a cider house. had a low-end amusement park feel to it all. but bottles and glassware to go are the draw.“
