68 /100 Cervecería Babilonia (Bar) PUERTO DE TARNA, 19 Neighbourhood cafe, small place with a nice outsoor seating area.
Around 4 mainstream taps plu a rotaing craft one, and a couple of coolers with some interesting craft and classic references |
76 /100 Cervecería Lord Vader (Bar) CALLE TOMAS CRESPO 6, ESQUINA C/ ALEJANDRO CASONA (PLAZA PEDRO MIÑOR) Cervecería con buena selección de cerveza tanto de grifo como de botellas. Decoración con temática Star Wars. |
82 /100 El Lúpulo Feroz (Bar) CALLE DE ILDEFONSO SÁNCHEZ DEL RÍO, 8 Visited June 2021.
Great ambiance, superb service and staff. Top notch place. |
82 /100 Cimmeria (Bar) MARTINEZ VIGIL, 8 Visited June 2021.
Relatively small place but with a nice beer selection. 12 taps, mainly spanish on my visit. They do flights. Beer served in good condition. Friendly staff, excellent service and good music. Top-notch place and a must if you are in Oviedo. |
52 /100 Llagar Herminio (Restaurant) C/ CAMINO REAL Nº11 Llagar a las afueras de Oviedo, local grande, sidra correcta. |
80 /100 L´Artesana Oviedo (Restaurant) SANTA CLARA 8 Nice place in the very center of Oviedo, Spain. The bar is practically a long corridor, with a few seats at the bar, some high tables, and some real tables in the back. I visited on a busy Saturday evening in Oviedo, with lots of people hanging around for carnival. Service was nice (bartenders wearing costumes), though impersonal. Selection was good, with 10 taps and three fridges of beers. Prices are good, between 3 and 3.5 euros. I will go back! |
72 /100 Cervecería Kraken (Bar) ALVAREZ LORENZANA 24 Relatively small bar near the Calatrava structure in a quiet neighbourhood. You can sit at the bar or at tables in the back. The managers are a couple and appear to be kind. Selection is 6 taps and a good numbers of bottles (2-3 fridges), with both traditional beers (Douchesse de Bourgogne yesterday) and local crafts, held at the right temperature. Prices are OK (typically EUR3 for a small beer). |
62 /100 L´esperteyu (Bar) CALLEJA DE LA CIEGA 2, ESQUINA AZCÁRRAGA Busy Irish pub in the centre of Oviedo, Spain. Ambiance is very lively, actually noisy, and in the occasion of my visit on a Thursday night, with a small band playing at a table. Very few seats available, not my preference to drink while standing. They have a list of bottled beers, including several traditional Belgian beers, and they looked really perplexed when I went to look at the fridge. They almost didn't let me "look" at the beers. The first one I asked to pull out, they were practically serving it me. They do have some craft beers, mostly from Spain. Overall, not my type of place, but decent. |
44 /100 Per Se Cafe (Bar) CALLE CANONIGA 18 Hipster place, nice pastries, a few craft beers, local mainly, on bottle. |
24 /100 CALLE MANUEL PEDREGAL 15 This place should not be listed here. Industrial beer only. Of course the have the entire San Miguel portfolio with their new "beers from the world"... |
90 /100 Cimmeria (Bar) MARTINEZ VIGIL, 8 Great place. No buts. Almost the best in Oviedo, would be the best in any other town. |
52 /100 CAMPOAMOR 14 A good bar, not so much a place for craft beer |
90 /100 L´Artesana Oviedo (Restaurant) SANTA CLARA 8 Ask for Jenny. She knows the deal. Good dinner with good beer. Not the best selection in town but that's understandable |
100 /100 El Lúpulo Feroz (Bar) CALLE DE ILDEFONSO SÁNCHEZ DEL RÍO, 8 Top place in Northern Spain. The staff shows deep knowledge of the craft beer world. Rock and roll music and the best beers in miles. That's all there is, and it's perfect. |
72 /100 L´Artesana Oviedo (Restaurant) SANTA CLARA 8 Local mediano con oferta interesante. Buena comida. |
No falla. |
100 /100 Vivalabirra (Beer Store) C/ FONCALADA 13 Tienda cervecera imprescindible en Oviedo. Servicio altamente especializado y atento. Un placer hacer compras en la tienda. |
60 /100 Bär Berlin (Restaurant) PEREZ DE LA SALA 13 Been there with a friend from Oviedo. The bar is large enough, well attended. They have about 10 taps, with seven "regular" beers (Bavarian and Belgian), plus three non-standards (in my night, a double IPA, a sour, and a NEIPA). Some bottles available, but only Belgian classics. Prices are low. The lady at the bar cannot speak English. |
100 /100 Bär Berlin (Restaurant) PEREZ DE LA SALA 13 Que cervecería más buena |
100 /100 El Lúpulo Feroz (Bar) CALLE DE ILDEFONSO SÁNCHEZ DEL RÍO, 8 Cervecería perfecta, ambiente, amabilidad, surtido, precios... |
92 /100 Vivalabirra (Beer Store) C/ FONCALADA 13 Very good store with a decent amount of beers (local and national) and a really good specialist inside. :) |
70 /100 La Forja Cafe & Bar (Bar) CALLE SOL 3 Small cafe, really centrally located, with a cooler plenty of nice bottles. Fair prices. |
80 /100 Cervecería Lord Vader (Bar) CALLE TOMAS CRESPO 6, ESQUINA C/ ALEJANDRO CASONA (PLAZA PEDRO MIÑOR) New beerplace opened in the west part of town. Ruled by former Pub Vader owner, this new place is more family oriented, opening from midday. 8 taps with some nice trendy beers, mix of locals and imports, and a pair of coolers with some good options. NIce terrace in a popular square. Worth a visit. |
