I expected to grab a quick beer for a tick and then drive on, but was convinced to spend more time after the owner brought a flight of samples. He sat down at our table and expressed a passion for his craft that persuaded us to stay for a few beers and some food.
We enjoyed the beer, the ambience, and the food--the BBQ chicken flatbread pizza was awesome. I must admit that not all the samples we were given were outstanding but overall the beer was above average. I bought a growler of the Pilsner to take home. Truly a destination to drive to if you are in the Bay City/Thumb region.“ |
