“Not a bad place for a meal and beer if you are in depot town. Low key good prices. Selection ok not spectacular.“

“Visited The Corner Brewery in Ypsilanti for the first time this past weekend (now more commonly referred to as the Arbor Brewing Microbrewery...I think they could have done a better job with that name...lol!) immediately following a stop at the original Arbor Brewing in downtown Ann Arbor . This is a great building and a great space. In addition to a very large taproom there is also a very sizable and pleasant beer garden. My friend and I each had a number of flight sized beers. I loved the Buzzsaw American IPA (which I’ve had at their Bangalore, India location), the Summer Camp Saison, the Ypsi Gypsi Session IPA, and the Sacred Cow IPA. The Mack Island Fudge was also noteworthy. I can see this would be a great place to hangout when there was a crowd...especially in the beer garden out back. When we visited there were a couple of shiny new tanks out in the parking lot waiting to get installed...one was a large fermenter. Make sure any visit to Ann Arbor area includes a stop here in Ypsilanti.“

“Huge place. Nice chill vibe on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Lots of regulars as evidenced by the names on some of the chairs and the roughly 600-700 mugs I could see. Comfortable with some couches, fireplace, books. Bottles of sours available but they were pricy. Draft beers were well priced and solid. Service was friendly but somewhat slow. Nice place.“

“Has several patios with a good selection of craft brews, had some really excellent Double Crooked Tree on tap. Food was alright, I just had a sandwich. Inside has lots of wood and cozy. Nice little place.“

“Been here a few times now, always interesting brats to eat and a large rotating tap selection. Has local and Belgian brews, had a Rodenbach Grand Cru on tap and they have an extensive bottle list.“

“Small-ish place, hipster bar atmosphere. Not "quiet" per se but certainly quiet enough to hold a conversation with people at your table. Decent sized tap-list with some pretty nice choices. Lots of Michigan stuff, as expected. Food is killer. Tons of great burgers & bar food, but the BRATS are where it’s at. over 12 different kinds of "brats", half of which are made with atypical meats. I know they had some with kangaroo, another with rattlesnake. I ordered the Alligator & Crawfish brat. Excellent choice. Served with sweet potato tots that come with a magical marshmallow dipping sauce. A little on the higher side of pricing for the amount of food, but worth it for the quality. Good place, will definitely need to come back more often.“

“The Wurst Bar offers everything you’d want from a good brewpub. Service was a little slow but very friendly. The atmosphere is fun though the music was a little loud for my taste. Wurst Bar boasts an impressive beer list and a knowledgeable staff. Beer was served in a pint glass at the proper temperature which I really appreciated. The only caveat with the beer is the price. Prepare to pay high-end draft prices for bottled beer. The food is the real deal. Meat is prepared fresh and cooked perfectly. The ingredients are fresh, high-quality, and bold. Given the quality of food, I’d say the prices are quite reasonable. This is a fun place with a lot to offer.“

“An excellent place for beers. Great selection of Michigan product. One off Shorts, Griffin Claw, Bell’s Hopslam, and Founders among the many choices. As a Texan, the brisket was dry - they just need to know how to better incorporate the fat into the meat. Daughter loved the smoked chicken - and the sides were awesome. Location is fine - Main St of Ypsi is open, safe and a cute little town. Look forward to another visit. An excellent alternative to Corner Brewery.“

“Nice place. Many varieties of handmade sausages, with several exotic varieties, managing to include vegetarian and vegan options. Many burger options as well. Beer menu has many really nice rotating taps, then backing it up with more selection in a larger bottle list. Tap samples available at no charge. Music was a bit loud at times, but that’s probably the only complaint to be found. Definitely will be back for more interesting food backed with a really nice beer list.“

“Love at first site!! The beer list is awesome, the food is awesome, the music is awesome, the specials are awesome! The decor works because it’s the wurst bar! I found out they deliver too!! I’ve been here about 6-7 times so far, and my guests and I have had a great experience every time!!“

“Been here several times now, the more I go here the more I like it. It’s located in the shadow of the Ypsi water tower, across from the EMU campus. They now have 24 taps. Always have Michigan beers as well as US micros ( Great Lakes New Belgian ) some international beers. They always did a good job with a limited number of taps. Now more room to add to the selection. Interesting decor kind of random, parts really retro, other parts...Staff are nice and friendly, Ypsilanti is a low key area, unpretentious, good mix of people in the bar. Food is pretty good burgers, brats etc. Tasty. They run a late night happy hour that is a good deal. Good place to have a few.“

“Been several times for combo of food and good beer. I like the interior, lots of brick. Pretty good selection with Michigan mircos, some Ann Arbor micros, and some international beers. BBQ has decreased in quality the last couple visits and the crowd in the restaurant has gotten smaller. If in Washtenaw or Western Wayne county is a reasonable stop.“

“Nice place downtown Ypsi. Seems to be rather new, with a somewhat lacking ambiance. Went for the food, stayed for the beer though. Around 15 taps with some interesting stuff besides the usual Founders, Bells and Shorts staff for MI. Saw a couple of taps from Stone, Petrus Aged Pale and 3 from Oskar Blues. Had the perfect trifecta for lunch, and it was really solid BBQ. A little bit pricey for the area, but you get what you pay.“

“A nice place to grab a burger and beer. Selection isn’t anything special but the staff is friendly and helpful, the burgers are really solid, prices are great and the crowd is always good. Worth a stop if you are in town, but don’t go out of your way.“

“A nice large space with a nice area to sit out back as well. A good selection or Arbor brewing beers. Service is usually good and staff is knowledgeable. Food is nothing special.“

“A handful of solid craft beers in a neglected cooler saves this from being a total dive. But if you like this sort of thing you can drink a Schlenkerla Urbock while locals shout racist remarks at a Tigers game on the TV.“

“eh. Not very impressive. Located in kind of a shady area, rude bartender. Go to Ann Arbor for better places and drink better beer than ABC brews.“

“Large space both with both indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly servers. The beer is very good overall. Some styles better than others. Generally, the IPAs seemed very solid. A great stop in Ypsilanti. Great prices on beer.“

“Went during Wednesday happy hour. Bar was pretty full, but most of the tables were empty. Prices were pretty good normally, and happy hour means the medium costs the same as the small (for the beers available in a medium). Had a couple beers, both of which were at least as good as the best Arbor beers I’ve had. There were only six beers on tap when I was there, but a seventh was being tapped, and it looked like they had space for 10 different beers. Sixers and growlers are available to go, and there’s a decent-looking menu as well. Definitely a nice place. Note: Rebranding as Arbor Brewing Company Microbrewery as of December 2013, but keeping the painted "Corner Brewery" on the building and some merchandise.“

“Big open room, staff are cool, beer is similar to Arbor. When I’ve been there I ordered out food, they are serving some on site. Decent place to head to after summer beer fest always a very good crowd then.“

“Love this place! Great selection of beers on tap, lots of Michigan brews. Good bottled selection too. Happy hour 25oz draft beers for $2.95! The burgers are great, and I like the sweet potato fries with the aioli dipping sauce. Service is good. Haven’t been here in the summer to sit on the patio, but enjoy the fireplace going inside in the winter. Only negative is that it’s a relatively small restaurant and can get pretty loud when busy.“

“A giant brick-walled room was aesthetically pleasing, but it simultaneously caused the beer hall to be very loud due to the hard surfaces reflecting sound, making it somewhat difficult to hear my friends. The atmosphere was very laid back, if you want a beer, you just go up to the bar and get one, the wait staff generally just pick up empty glasses and don’t really get you drinks. Drinks are generally ordered as a liter or a half liter, which is quite neat, as a liter is practically a bucket of beer. KI went during Oktoberfest, so the building was dressed up in the related attire with German folk music being played and wait staff walking around liderhosen. Overall, the beer list may be short, but the beer they do is done well, IPA drinkers like the IPA, stout drinkers like the stout, and light beer drinkers like the blonde. The place is a bit loud for my taste, but the beer is so good i’m willing to overlook the noise. The crowd appears to be college graduates or graduate students with a few elderly and middle aged folks.“

“Nice, large outdoor seating area. Tucked off the main path / industrial --- again, great place to get a beer with people who want beer. Food was fine, didn’t eat too much. Selection was good.“

“Good place with good beer. They generally have a nice selection of beers and I almost always can find a few that I will enjoy. Their menu is limited abut you can also bring in your own food if you so desire. They also support homebrewers and you will see something call the rat pad, which is their current beer that they helped a homebrewer brew on the premises. I have found a few of those that have been outstanding. As far as their reular beers, I often enjoy the Sacred Cow IPA, the Jackhammer Old Ale as well as the Olde #22.“

“The picture to the left is of the Ann Arbor location and not the Ypsilanti location. Called the Corner Brewery but I expected it to be at a corner location in a downtown location not off by itself in a neighborhood type location. Appears to be an old factory. Place is huge compared to the Ann Arbor location which I tried to stop at tonight but it was packed. I walked in to an industrial type building that is a big open space. Plenty of room at the bar which is a nice sight for a solo traveler. 8 beers on tap including 3 special which was nice. All 3 beer were pretty good especially the IIPA. I had the Beef and Cheddar melt which was decent. Also had the hummas with pita bread which was average. Lots of vegan items if that is your thing. Nicely decorated and had a real cool rack for hanging the Mug Club mugs. Overall I liked the relax vibe this place was putting off. Would visit again“

“Stopped here after MBGF07. North of Main Street with parking in front and parking lot on the side. Clean brick and wood older building with bar on left and tables and couches on the right. Good selection of standards on tap. All were drinkable brews. Freindly bartender with little knowledge. Beer garden in the back. Had a beer by the name of Rat Pad #4, that is not on Arbor Brewing page. Who’s beers are these. Interesting location.“

“Just Arbor Brewery annex. Sort of related to how UM and EMU are. Fairly nice open area. Long bar, tables, couches, and a garden. Had 8 taps. Limited bar food; 7 sandwiches and 7 apps. However they state that you can order out and have it delivered.“

“Had a delicious esresspo stout made with local coffee shop coffee. This is what makes this place great: very comfy atmosphere and dedication to the community brewpub feel. They were out of many of their offerings but the stout and blonde were fantastic. Great spot to hang out, especially in the beer garden.“

“This bar is what Ypsilanti needed. It has a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and most importantly GREAT tasting beer. Some may balk at the selection, but the Corner Brewery, or "CB" as it’s affectionately known, only sells what it brews on the premesis. The great thing about that is this place doesn’t brew a bad beer. The inside is done up with furniture donated from local residents. Dining tables and chairs as well as nice big comfy couches and chairs. If you’re a smoker, you’ll love the beer garden outside with the new patio. Try the Blonde and thank me later.“
