A shame, considering all the thirsty tourists on vacation here. Not all of us are happy with Tropical and Dorada! La Ruta is located on the second floor in a shopping mall called C.C. Meloneras, right on the seafront Playa Meloneras. La Ruta has a spacious, shaded patio with great sea view. A pool table and international pop/rock music. Relaxing atmosphere when I visited early this Sunday. Friendly service and free peanuts. The waiter spoke English well. There is a beer menu and the beers are sorted after style. 4 taps and about 70 bottles, nothing crazy but lots of quality beers from Belgium, US, Germany and Spain. I had Naparbier Saison, Naparbier Porter and Chutney Ronnie Biggs, all bottles. Well worth the 30 minutes hike from my holiday hacienda. (Visited July 2nd 2017)“ |
