“Yumbo shopping center? An awfull place built in the eighties. A place to drink cheap Tropical, eat at mediocre restaurants, buy towels with “I love Gran Canaria” or key rings with a wooden penis. Some of you would also like to visit one of many gay bars…. But, Restaurante Miramar is a decent place. My first visit was with my wife. We enjoyed dinner and craft beers. Tasty seafood. Only one beer on tap; Victoria Malaga but two fridges with craft beers. Lots of cans from Galotia, Garage, Basqueland, Gross, Naparbier and more. 50 beers in the written beer menu, but always more in the fridge, I was told. Super friendly and attentive service. Two men at work both times, the tattooed guy really knew their beers. I revisited two days later just to drink beers and some cans for take away. (Visited July 11th and 13th 2023)“

“Visited January 2020. Macro beers on tap but a decent beer selection on the fridge. Quiet and friendly. Good value. Next one please!“

“Small craft beer bar which also works as a gourmet burger bar. The food i had was excellent, about the best vegetarian burger i ever tasted, and i've been around. At 11.5 euros it better be good, and it was... Beer selection is good enough to keep a ticker occupied, with many new canary island and spanish beers i have not ticked yet. I found my first NAO beers, and that brewery is almost enough of a reason to visit lanzarote, where they are from. Judging from the beer memorabilia on the walls and in the bar, as well as the lightning - consisting mainly of two wooden cases filled with empty westvleteren bottles and a light- you might conclude that the owner takes his craft beer fairly seriously. Beer menu had the usual mainstream belgian and international ones, i didn't pay too much attention to that, after i found 2 pages of spanish craft beers. 3 taps with not that exciting beer. I am definetly going to visit again to tick some more local bottles. Service was very attentive. This and la ruta are the only beer places worth visiting in maspalomas/playa del ingles/san augustin that i know of, but i hope there are more, hidden, somewhere, somehow. Been around many supermarkets and it still seems like the closest supermarket with some kind of useful beer selection is still el corte ingles up in las palmas. “

“Visited twice during my holiday, once for drinks only, once with the family for dinner and drinks. Located close to CITA, opposite of Rey Carlos hotel. Not the nicest scenery when sat on the small patio, but this is by far the best place in Playa del Ingles to get a drink. Inside is small, cozy, lots of wood, beer stuff. Only 3 tap beers, but it's the fridge with Spanish beers I was most interested in. Small but decent selection of local Canarian and mainland craft beers. Prices for bottles ranged from 4.50 to 10.50 for some BA Stouts. Beers available for takeaway with 20% discount. Service was very friendly and willing to engage in conversation, but English was a bit of a problem for some. Owner is Belgian, had a nice chat in Dutch about craft on the Canarias. Burgers were excellent and well-priced btw. Must visit when in (god-awful) Playa del Ingles.“

“Finally a bar worth visiting in Playa del Ingles. Small, narrow bar with a small patio in front. Situated under "Apartamentos Aloe" Toilets in the backyard, seemed to be shared with some other nearby bars. Very friendly service, but English skills varied from none to excellent. 3 taps: Primus, BrewDog Punk IPA and La Chouffe Blond. About 90 bottles in 2 fridges. Local beers from Jaira and Galotia, but also many from La Pirata and of course many Belgian. Verified venue on Untappd. I bought some bottles to bring home and got a Gulden Draak glass for free. Nice! Spanish pop music played, but also Lenny Kravitz and Santana. This is now my nearby top venue. (Visited July 7th 2019)“
