70 /100 L'Abadia de Benidorm (Bar) AVENIDA EUROPA 5 A nice modern and clean feel to the bar. Didnt feel like anywhere else we went in Benidorm. Prices were reaonable for the beers. Service was friendly but a little slow, although it was Saturday evening. Good seslection of Spanish, Belgian and German beers. |
70 /100 L'Abadia de Benidorm (Bar) AVENIDA EUROPA 5 A bit confusing beer menu on the table with industrial and craft beers listed about each other. It is, in fact, more enlightening to have a look at all the empty bottles on display on shelves to the right of the upper level. Quite a few bottled craft beers to choose from, including breweries like Althaia, La Pirata, Naparbier, Olañeta-Gipuzkoa and a few more. Not all the beers are listed in the menu, be sure to have a look in the fridge behind the counter. Six taps with mainstream beers like Leffe, Ambar, Stella, and a Franziskaner among them. Airy, medium sized room with a small patio. Should be easy to find to the the lower part of the broad Avenida Europa, not far from the seaside. Popular early on a Saturday afternoon. Hard working barman still with a friendly smile on his face. Some light food options. Springsteen and Clash music in the back. On of the very few places for craft beers in Benidorm. 76 /100 Beer Happy (Bar) C/ LA BIGA, 11 A cozy, little beer bar in a backyard of the old town in Benidorm, not more than five minutes' walk from the busy seaside. Five taps and about 40 bottles, mostly from Spanish craft breweries. I bought beers from breweries like Yria and In Peccatum on taps and from H2ÖL and La Pirata on bottles, in addition to a recommendation from a friendly barman. Modern interiors with tiled floors and stone carpet walls, nicely decorated with colourful drawings. Rock attitude to the music. An oasis for beer drinking in Benidorm. However, this is not a brewpub or a brewery, just a decent craft beer bar. (Visited with Frau Eva 03.04.2019). |
54 /100 Cafe de Kroon (Bar) 1 CALLE GERONA Nice little Belgium style cafe.. |
82 /100 L'Abadia de Benidorm (Bar) AVENIDA EUROPA 5 Probably as good as it gets here.. nice open bar on two levels great selection of Spain craft ales .Well worth popping in... |
68 /100 Molly’s (Bar) CALLE MOLI, 3 Great little place for food and beer, the IPA is a great beer. |
44 /100 St.James Tavern (Restaurant) 3 CARRETERA FINESTRAT St.James’ Tavern is a great little below ground joint known for it’s english breakfast and dinner. You won’t get robbed here, as the food is very authentical english and alot of loudmouthed geordie speaking people. It’s a charm on it’s own for sure, but it’s not a place you go to rate beer as they only have a couple of taps with Guinness, Brown Ale, Galicia etc. Friendly down-to-earth service |
56 /100 Cafe de Kroon (Bar) 1 CALLE GERONA Selection here is mostly macros by the mainstream Benelux breweries, and a couple of spanish regionals. If youre lucky theyll pull out a duth micro on bottle, which probably is due date.
The food here is great and cheap, authentic dutch cuisine with a twist of the mediterranean. Service is outstanding, but knowledge of beer is non-existant. Overall a great place for for eating, and for a couple of dutch draft - in the heart of Benidorm |
44 /100 Colliers Bar (Bar) 11 CALLE MARTINEZ DE ORIOLA Colliers is a nice british pub and although lacking interior ambience the atmosphere can be really nice here. Enjoyed by both locals and expats and the occasional tourist. Located perfectly in the old town with bars and food bars all around, it’s a well visited bar. The selection is not that good, but what they have is decent and very, very affordable. |
