“yet another new (to me) friar tuck in the STL area, I visited this one in April 2013 and made about a $75 purchase. Yet another similar friar tuck to the rest of them-beer on the left. Seems to have fairly quickly rotating stock unlike other locations. Prices are fair to a little high but the selection is very solid. Some rare beers (evil twin stuff, imports) and fresh MO beers. If i cant get to Wine and Cheese, this is now my 2nd choice if im in the STL area.“

“I’ve been to this one a few times. The selection is good, but maybe not quite as extensive as Lukas Liquor’s. The prices are about the same. They seem to have a slightly higher ratio of import beer than other places. Lat couple times I went, I got a coupon for $5 off a purchase of $20 within the next month. It’s not really convenient for me to go to this location anymore, but if I’m in the area, I’ll consider it. Service was fine, but nothing special.“

“Friar Tuck doesn’t have a location convenient to me (in the city of St. Louis) but this one is about 25 minutes away in the complete zoo that is the Gravois Bluffs shopping area. The store seemed pretty new, so it’s big, bright, and clean. The staff helped me out by setting aside a couple bottles I heard they had around. The selection was pretty huge; a very long beer aisle rolls back into a back section with both aisle displays and a walk-in refrigerated area. Stock was deep for everything they had. The prices were just a touch higher than what I would have liked, but not bad. They had things in stock that I hadn’t seen in the area yet, or at least not in a long time. I wondered how long certain things were on the shelves but that didn’t matter for a couple rare impy stouts I found. Too bad there isn’t one of these closer to me or I’d visit more.“
