“The best place in Poplar Bluff to purchase decent beers not in the standard BMC line. Okay, technically Leinenkugel’s is owned by a macro, but... Owner Les Kingery is behind the counter most evenings. He is very knowledgeable regarding both beer and wine (he makes his own wine - called Bonanza Spring Winery) and is very cordial to boot. And if you really want a special order he will try his best to get it for you. He is the lowest in town for Schlafly, Leinenkugel’s, New Belgium, and Samuel Adams. You can purchase two 6-packs of Samuel Adams or Schlafly for $15 including tax - $1.25 per bottle. The place is kind of rundown, and features porn magazines, but Les makes up for that. After just a few visits he will greet you by name when you come in - and I kind of like that!“

“By far the best selection of American and imported beer in the Poplar Bluff area. Have wine & beer tasting events periodically. Prices are on the high end - case in point a 6-pack of Fat Tire goes for $9.50 - yikes! Very good selection of beer & wine - but marked up like a furniture store. Food is excellent but also on the high end. Caters to medical and other professionals and out of town guests. Great place to visit it you are not picking up the tab, but can break the bank if not...“
