“Huge place, huge parking lot. Bakery on the left as you enter, restaurant tables, L-shaped bar with the brewhouse visible through glass behind it. Picnic tables with feeble umbrellas out front have a view of the busy road and parking lot but no shade. Brewer and staff from 603 Brewery were drinking and eating here, a good sign. Service was extremely friendly, not rushed. Good variety of beer styles including an altbier and a dark mild, and flights of four are possible, all that I had were tasty. Pizza was good too, true New York style. Worth travling a bit to try this place.“

Heritage Corner Market (Grocery Store)
1380 FIRST NH TURNPIKE
“This is a small grocery store on Route 4 with a great selection of meat cuts, which has been around for a long time. The main reason I go there is for the meat and especially their homemade breakfast sausage but I almost always pick up some beer these days. Their beer selection is about quality not quantity. There are many New Hampshire and other regional craft beers sold in a cooler at the back of the store along with a "beer cave." There is also a dry shelf of bomber bottles. Northwood has two breweries and there is also a decent place to buy beer.“

“The bakery is in the same space as the brewery. Pastries are quite well done. Flights are available at both the steakhouse and in the brewery. Take out beers to go include single cans. Mix your own 4 pack. Reasonably priced. I have been visiting Johnson’s years before the brewery was here. The staff is always super friendly, with the food being well above average. Food inside the brewery is limited to pizza only. When visit, I always eat at the steak house. ( have not tried the pizza yet) If you ever are in Northwood, NH for some strange reason, eat at Johnson’s and swing in the brewery for some cans to go. Worth the stop for sure.“

“This brewery is located in the building of a steak and seafood restaurant that has been around for decades. There is a spacious tasting room with bakery goods for sale. Soon there will be a full menu. The counter has a kind of slate top with high wooden stools.. There were 12 beers on tap and all of the ones I tried were by-the-book with no significant deviation from the styles. It might be because they are new and trying to develop a client base although the restaurant next door has a good client base. Friendly service. You can buy flights but eventually you will be able to purchase pints. Cans are available.“
