“The taproom is small, but big enough for the regular crowd. During our visit, it was occupied by about 13 people. It was a little on the loud side and a little bit tight, but could squeeze another ten or so craft lovers if necessary. The tap room is dog friendly. There are bar seats for four, table seats for about thirteen and standing room for even more. There are eight brews on tap and available for take out. They have two cask beers that are available in the taproom only. The brew list includes several different types of beers. At the time of our visit, they had an IPA, several seasonal brews, pale ale, Pilsner, brown ale and two stouts. Overall, there was a nice selection that is sure to please any beer enthusiast. The brewtender, Kristen, was very knowledgeable, friendly and into her job. She answered our questions and spoke with us while we sat at the bar. She added a nice personal touch to the visit. Definitely an asset not to be overlooked! We were very pleased with our experience and would recommend that others swing by to check it out. We will be back! “

“Really enjoyed this small place. The "tour" puts out some various ingredients that you can use to sniff-compare, so that’s sort of fun for a minute. Then the tasting room is small but really pretty cozy with nice woodwork. Server was amicable and knowledgeable. Very nice selection of different styles, all of which I tried being good to very good. Two handpumps on, so that’s a bonus. I visited Slack Tide and Ludlam Island on a recent trip, and LI was, for me, had much more to offer.“

“Easy enough to ride your Bicycle over to hear from the Shore points (which is a big bonus). Friendly people. 8 beers on tap with flights of 4.“

“New south Jersey brewery opened in the original Tuckahoe brewery. They did some really nice woodwork to fix the place up...looks much better than previously. I met the owner...really nice guy...shared a lot about the brewery...his history and his plans. The beers here are quite good for so early in the life of a small brewery (5 bbl I think he told me...2 batches to fill the 10 bbl fermenters). The Fish Alley IPA was really good...normally would have been my favorite being I love hoppy beers...but the surprise (for me anyway) was how amazing their stout was. It’s called 547 Unfathomable Stout (I was told that 547 ft is the maximum penetration of sunlight into the ocean)...and boy was it good. If I had taken a growler (and note that they have crowlers too)...this stout would have been in it. I recommend a visit here if anywhere between AC and Exit 0. If you’re down this way you now have 3 choices (Cape May, Slack Tide, and Ludlam...plus very soon 7 Mile). Ludlam is a nice edition to the southern Jersey shore craftbeer scene.“
