72 /100 Rio Grande Grill and Tap Room (Restaurant) 441 MECHEM DRIVE Very pleasantly surprised finding this place. Great setting with a downstairs bar and an excellent patio upstairs. Beer samplers are very reasonable at $5 for four 5oz pours. The four I tried were above average. The food was also good. The burgers were huge and cooked perfectly. Next time I might try the BBQ because it smelled great. Prices are in line with the touristy area. Very friendly servers but maybe not the most beer savy. The owner was walking and talking around the tables tonight. Kids would be okay. They also have bottles to go and growler fills. |
56 /100 Landlocked (Restaurant) 441 MECHEM DRIVE Taking the place of the old Weber’s Grill, Landlocked continues serving a fair amount of beer. Disappointed to learn however, that they no longer have their ties with the Sierra Blanca brewery. They only had 1 local NM brew and lucky for me it was a new rate. The bartender knew plenty about the NM craft beer scene and had no qualms talking with me about it. Didn’t try the food. |
