“Visited the brewery and asked for single bottles or cans. I was told they only sold 6- or 4-packs, no singles. Even though I explained I was from Europe and I wanted to taste the beers, so only needed singles the staff did not want to help me. Very disappointed and as it was 11 o'clock in the morning so too early to have a beer, I left. Again, very disappointed.“

“Many times to Santa Fe, but this was my first to Tumbleroot. We did not go inside but instead sat down in the patio with a beer and a gin and tonic. I call the atmosphere rustic with an area of high chairs and tables and another with picnic tables. We sat in a shady spot and drank our drinks while enjoying the pleasant Santa Fe weather. The bartender was friendly and efficient. The beer was much better than the cocktail, something with the tonic water was not right.“

“Hey, they moved. Caused me to do extra walking. Walked right by new location, they need bigger sign. Mostly wine in there. They have a cooler of New Mexico beer with singles too. Yes, lots of foregien beer there too and some expensive stuff.“

“A nice place to stop in for a fast beer. About 12 taps. Good prices. Have a fast beer then get back out to watching the wife shop.“

“We have been here a number of times. The food is quite good, the employees are friendly and there are 12 taps of local or regional beers. A couple of days ago I had a pint of a Santa Fe Brewing IPA I had never seen before. The place has a pleasant, small patio that is dog friendly. Nice place to take a break from the tourists outside.“

“West of town, indoor outdoor seating with large tap and bottle list, food was good and the service was good as well. I had their saison which was tasty. Worth a stop.“

“This was definitely my favourite beer stop in Santa Fe. But interestingly, though they specialize in farmhouse ales, those were the least impressive (and most flawed) of the beers I sampled. All beers are available in 4 oz pours, priced reasonably. They have a bunch of guests taps, plus lots of bottles (including many lambics, but those are priced at the wazoo). I sampled 8 of their house beers. The two base farmhouse beers I tried had phenolic issues, though their gose and Berliner were very well-done. The highlights for me was their fantastic cocoa and coffee imperial stout, and west coast IIPA. Service was a bit cold and haphazard, serving sloppy pours that spilled on the tasting tray and not providing napkins — but attentive otherwise. The outside patio is super comfortable. Overall, best beer quality at a brewery in Santa Fe.“

“Located upstairs in a cute part of town, about 10 minutes walking from the Railyard. It was very hot in there and very busy when we visited on a Wednesday evening around 9pm. Flights available -- 4 for $13 after tax, rather steep for Santa Fe. Beer quality was solid, ranging from mediocre to good, but with nothing mindblowing. Decent service. Worth hitting when in town, maybe during the day when it's not so busy, hot and loud.“

“Very close to the centre, located tucked away in a courtyard. They had 6 ciders on tap when I went, available in 4 oz pours for $2/piece. Cider was very bad -- sweet, amateur ciders, everything with adjuncts. Totally useless stuff. Service was fine. Not worth wasting your time here.“

“Great location, in "downtown" Santa Fe right in the centre -- entrance is off the central courtyard sort of area. 5 oz pours of everything available for $2.50 a beer. All their beers were clean and reasonable, but nothing all that exciting on tap. Good service and a fun environment. Worth hitting when in town.“

“Located in the southern part of town in a very rural setting, this is a cool spot. Large, outside, casual patio with their bar outside. I did a flight of 4 for about $8 -- unfortunately I wasn't too happy with most of the beers (their two double [hazy] IPAs were muddled and chalky), though the helles was fine. Their bottled beers looked good, but I'm not sure I wanted to try them out with such weak tap offerings. Cool spot, but weak beers. Wouldn't recommend them.“

“Located in the far south of Santa Fe, so it's ideal for hitting either on your way in or out. The property is large, with a beautiful outside seating area. They are a veteran brewery and don't seem to be doing much in the way of new beers. Flights available -- my 4 cost $10 after tax. Beer quality was just generally solid, but there was nothing that interesting on -- their Chicken Killer Barley Wine and (Imperial) Java Stout were both on, but I'd tried them years ago. Decent, friendly service. Worth a stop when in town, but don't expect anything outstanding.“

“Beerandblues2 and I won a brewing day here in a silent auction, so we visited multiple times. Smallish taproom with a tall bar, kitchen and brewhouse just behind it. Nice gravel patio with some shade. Beers were tasty in a great variety of styles, including some funky saisons both on tap and in bottles. Food was tasty and creative. Fast attentive table service. A definite highlight of Santa Fe.“

“Blue Corn is no longer in business apparently. See @hopdog's review. Located upstairs. Nice speakeasy vibe. Steady but not busy. Cool dog came in. That was nice. Had a couple tacos, and they were quite nice, though I was kinda shitfaced by this point. Had 2 flights. 6 beers, 2 ciders. Beers ranged from decent to very good. The two ciders I tried were excellent, and definitely better than NM Cider. Shift change while I was there. First bartender was excellent, and won't judge the second one because I left right after he started. Overall a nice stop, and essential if you're on a Santa Fe brewery tour.“

“Kinda tucked away. Open but dark space. Nasty bathroom. Empty when I got there, but some people, and some dogs came in after me. The people, eh, but always nice to see dogs. 7 or 8 ciders on tap, all kinda meh. Similar number of guest taps, all local breweries. Bartender was friendly but not very helpful. Seems like they might ne more of a whiskey bar. Not worth a stop unless you're on a deep dive.“

“Second Street might be the best brewery in NM. Not too busy on a Sunday afternoon. Lots of light, comfortable vibe. Did not try the food but the wings my neighbor (and part owner) had smelled amazing. Bartender was very helpful. Friendly, informative, and good work ethic. Tried 8 beers, and every single one was very well made. Overall tended a tad bit on the hoppy side, but I like that. Prices dirt cheap. I had 8 4 ounce samples. The most expensive one was $3, and most were $1.40 - 1.75. Haven't seen prices like that in years. Gotta say a place with dirt cheap prices AND excellent beer is a hell of a find. This is the best experience of the New Mexico trip, so far.“

“Had a blast here. Sat at the bar. Not too busy early afternoon on a Sunday. Lots of selections. Rustic vibe. None stellar, but, all drinkable. Large variety of styles. Italian food available; didn't try. Sarah the bartender was amazing. Good conversation, and we basically watched movies together. Wedding singer was on, and she actually paid to put on Tropic Thunder when she learned I hadn't seen it. Prices good, and I was undercharged. Very generous with small tastes. I walked, so no clue about parking. Overall, a rough gem for the SF beer scene.“

“Located in strip mall hell south of town. Typical TW. Good selection of locals, which is what I was looking for. Prices good. Staff, well, I can't remember, so they must have been neither bad nor good. As with all TWs, ticker's paradise. Less common beers, no rarities.“

“One of the old-school style WFMs (most people probably don't know what that means). All the employees were friendly. Smallish beer selection. Nothing rare but they do well with the space they have. Not worth going out of your way for, but a decent grocery store.“

“Stopped in about midday, after visiting the farmer's market. Convenient location, in the middle of the railyard, with lots of shopping and such around. The interior is dark, clean, and spartan, and the patio is out on the sidewalk. The servers were friendly and competent, but a little slow. Quite a few specials and seasonals, in addition to their flagships. A nice spread of styles. They didn't have the kitchen open when I was there, sadly. This is a fun stop, with some fun and quality beers.“

“Stopped in for lunch. Small bar and indoors area, with an enclosed, gravel patio area. The servers were friendly and quick, despite being short-staffed. Excellent selection of beers, with a lot of guest beers, to go bottles and cans, and a lot of cellar beers. The food was fantastic, as well, which is always nice. Highly recommended for a visit.“

“I wish I stopped by here the 1st day I was in town. Lots of local singles including some one off and limited beers. Outside and signage makes it seem like they don't have beer .. but they do. I mentioned I was in a Hotel with plastic cups and they went in the back and gave and found a couple glass pint glasses to give me. A must if in the area.“

“Stopped by here twice during my Santa Fe vacation. Don't be fooled by the parking, they share spots with the attached pizza joint. They also share the outdoor middle patio and menus. Apparently the owner lives up stairs and lets his dogs out on the roof...was being watched by 2 little dogs standing on the edge of the roof looking down into the patio ..loved that (going to give a 5 Ambiance for 2 little dogs looking and barking down at us). The pizza was good as was some of the other food (enough we went back). Beer was decent too ...“

“Located in same building as Blue Corn. For me harder to find and not much signage, but I hear they like it that way. I only had a few flights of their beer and did not get to the ciders. Average to just above average beers ... better than Blue Corn's. Would rather drink here than downstairs there. I remember the flights being expensive as heck.“

“Visited here in late May '19 on a Sunday night for dinner. Located a few blocks from the downtown area but parking can be a challenge, all the spaces seem to be reserved for other businesses. Cozy confines, big bar, a few tables, Great selection of local beers and a few regionals from other states. Gastropub menu, burgers, small plates, solid entrees. I had a burger which was outstanding. Solid spot in Santa Fe.“

“Visited here in late May '19 while on vacation. Great little place once you find it! Tight quarters, small bar area, several small tables, large patio area outside. Parking can be a challenge. Have a wide selection of their beers on tap, all of their commons with a few high gravity selections and seasonal thrown in for good measure. Growlers and bombers available as well. Lively crowd enjoying their beer, tentative and friendly staff.“

“Visited here on a Saturday night in late May '19 while on vacation. Located in a a trendy area of shops and restaurants by an old restored train depot and tracks. Solid menu, full of American standards, a few Mexican entrees, I had New Mexican enchiladas and they were very tasty. Have about a dozen of their own on tap, no boundary stretchers, solid flavor. “Huge space on the outskirts of town - impressive patio space, plus a huge indoor area with great ambience and a sizeable live performance space - overall, as a place, it's really pretty great - attentive staff - small food menu, plus dedicated space outside for two rotating food trucks - they have a small list of their own beers, plus a cocktail menu using spirits they distill on-site - the brewing is so-so - truthfully, their cocktails are much better - I got a couple of beers and my wife got some cocktails and after the fact I wished I had just gotten cocktails - get some stronger brewing here and it would be the best damn spot in Sante Fe.“

“Industrial-looking space with a fairly decent-sized covered patio - about ten of their own beers, and ten or so guest taps - their beer is mostly beligan and saison styles, the quality of which is merely so-so - very nice folks that care about what they're doing, though - I really wanted to like this place more than I did.“

“Somewhat difficult to get a table. Pretty much zero parking aside from the underground lot at the end of Camlno de la Familia Good service. Beer: average plus. Food: average minus. Good location, offset by cost and quality, IMO. Potential to be much better with some decent management and decipherable bus schedule. Overall, nothing special except to check off the list.“

“This place was fine, but Im not sure what all the hype is about. The beer selection was respectable for a restaurant, but seemed like the lines needed to be cleaned. They had a nice patio and good outdoor seating and the service was pretty good, but the food was not overly impressive. Prices were fairly good for the most part, but my overall impression was that the place was mostly average.“

“Stopped in at the brewery for lunch in Santa Fe. The brewery had a nice outdoor patio and a lot of space indoors as well, and the service was friendly and helpful. “Nice location, central but just off the main street. Laid back, quiet area, nice bar, most seating is outside on the main patio which has plenty of shade. The food is lots of big tastes, local farm to table fare, top notch flavors. The onion rings are awesome. The taps are the star of the show. Best guest beer list in town, lots of more unusual and fun stuff than anywhere else in santa fe. The beers brewed on site are truly delicious, lots of real deal farmhouse, funky, sour stuff goig on here, and honestly its of white a high caliber, very well done offerings. Overall easily the best beer in town, if you have time for only one stop in Santa Fe, this is it.“

“This is definitely a great place to come pick up some beer. They stock all the stuff Santa Fe would get that I want to drink. The majority of the beer is refrigerated. I had no problem finding fresh stuff, but they had some 2013 and 2014 Alaskan smoked porter sitting around. Maybe that was intentional for some inexplicable reason. Prices are competitive for the area. I left with some goodies from La Cumbre and Santa Fe Brewing along with a four pack of Breakfast Stout and a Sam Adams Rauchbier for good measure.“
