“Fairly industrial, brewing location with an outlet for beer. Decent service, friendly, knowledgeable. Not a super lot of choices. The rotating small batch beers seemed supremely better than the bland flagships.“

“Visited with family. Clean, attractive pub atmosphere. Nice selection of locals, and other beers. Solid selection of pub fare, and some other decent meals. Friendly service. Not too expensive overall. Decent. Especially for this relatively barren town.“

“Really a convenience store and gas station with a growler fill station with 12 taps! Seriously it is in a gas station! Also pick six and six packs of typical craft beers including Bells, Ommegang, Dogfish Head, etc.“

“Visited with the family. A good selection of 30 taps of locals such as Cortland Beer Co. and Bells, Southern Tier, Bronx. Good food. Knowledgeable staff. Kids menu and high chairs available for dinner time. Kids get a solo cup full of crayons and a coloring placemat.“

“Stopped by recently for the first time. Store has a bottle redemption area, growler fills, and a fair selection of bottles. Clerk seemed knowledgeable. At only about a mile away, will be my go-to place.“

“Stopped in while in Cortland. There’s not a whole lot in this town. But this shop was clean, and well organized. Prices are on most everything, which is big for me. The staff was friendly. The selection wasn’t killer, but there was a great representation of locals, including Horseheads, Middle Ages, and of course, Cortland Brewing. No growler station. The prices were reasonable, even good, for most things. Not worth a pilgrimage, but definitely worth a stop if you’re in town.“

“The place is a converted mechanics garage. The tasting room itself is clean and well lit, there are bottles on shelves all along the wall, with clearly marked prices. There are growler fills, but you have to buy their growler, which is annoying. The service was reasonable friendly and attentive. The value is there, a lot of bombers are $.99, the high end ones (like the Flight 410 BB aged) is $10.99. Decent place, with some good brews to their name.“

“A cool place in Cortland, in a former garage/gas station setting. They are in the process of enlarging the place so should be even better, but right now, you have a counter for growler fills, which also serve as the tasting room, all free samples ( 8 taps in all). They have 3 beers in bombers. The beers are very nice with a few exceptional ones (loved the coffee porter).“

“Stopped in while passing through the area. The building is pretty small, formerly being just a two bay auto repair shop. They make pretty good use of the space being able to house the brewing operations and having a tasting/retail room in the front corner. They have a bunch of their own beers on tap and a few available in bombers. The taps included 3 stouts (regular, coffee, and imperial), a pale lager, a pale ale, an IPA, a red ale, an old ale, and a barrel aged version of the old ale. The beers are very well made, and you’re able to sample any or all of them as much as you’d like free of charge before making your purchases. They’ll fill outside growlers as well. The girl working the tap room was very friendly. I mean, it’s basically just a place to go and try a couple of their beers before picking up a growler, but the beers are definitely worth drinking. I can’t imagine there are a ton of places to get good beer in the area, so that alone makes it a decent place to go. About 40 minutes from Ithaca, and right off the thruway“

“I stopped by here by chance and was pleasantly surprised by the beer. This place is really small it’s a deep two bay garage that houses the brewery and a tasting room a block or so off of main st in Cortland NY. They had about 10 taps and they generously allowed me to cycle through all of them and several times with the imperial stout. Everything was available to go in growlers with the regular stuff around 10 + the bottle and the big stuff 5 dollars more. They have a few bottles available in a cooler up front varying prices. The barleywine I bought was 10+ a bomber, I hope its good because the tap was dry while I was there. Good to great beer and great people, I wish them great success.“
