China Bar (Bar)

“Went here while I was in Flushing for a work conference. First off, if you’ve never been to Downtown Flushing, it’s basically Chinatown 2.0. This place is very small. They are really into karaoke here, the same goes for everywhere in that area. When I was there the only choices I had for beers was Coors Light and Guinness. Price isn’t bad($5) for NYC. Hardly anybody there speaks English. Not a craft persons desired location. But this was basically the ONLY place that sold beer in the area. So, I had to work with the hand that I was dealt. Hey, at least it’s open to 4am.“

Beverage Depot (Beer Store)
“A very decent selection of beers, both sixers and bombers, A good deal of Belgian and German standard beers too. Ommegang, Stone, Dogfish Head and lots of others. The room isn’t of the pretties ones, but it serves the purpose and I don’t really care as long as I get some good beers. Could use some cooling though, it was too hot in there. The beers in the cooler were mostly of the boring kind, but at least they had one. Glad we stopped by.“

Beverage Depot (Beer Store)
“Nice beer store with a great selection of domestic beers and a decent selection of imports. Great service and fair prices. Unfortunately not many craft beers could be found in the refrigerators.“
