92 /100 Wantagh Beverage (Beer Store) 3341 BELTAGH AVE Very friendly and knowledgeable. Will special order beer for you if they can find it. They are making continual strides to improve their appearance. Great neighborhood distributor. |
60 /100 Iavarone Brothers of Wantagh (Beer Store) 1166 WANTAGH AVENUE I have often stopped in here to see what they have. This is a great place for food, but they also have a relatively decent craft beer section. The service is standard for a supermarket. The staff is not especially attuned to the world of craft beer. But this place is worth your while if you are in the neighborhood. |
78 /100 Wantagh Beverage (Beer Store) 3341 BELTAGH AVE Great place. Te owner, Mike, is a great guy. If you’re looking for something special, he will try to get it to you. The ambiance is a work in progress, although they’ve made great strides in recent months with the layout and the appearance. They host great events for great beers, and often have the harder to find stuff on hand. Their prces are always pretty reasonable. They are cool with allowing customers to mix a six, or just buy one bottle out of a six pack. The growler station has abvout 10 taps, usually great beer. Good place to shop for beer. |
88 /100 Wantagh Beverage (Beer Store) 3341 BELTAGH AVE friendly and knowledgeable staff, beer is always fresh, great hours. |
70 /100 Iavarone Brothers of Wantagh (Beer Store) 1166 WANTAGH AVENUE A very nice supermarket with a similar selection to that of Whole Foods minus the taps (which some Whole Foods don’t have anyway). Very convenient if you are in the area and picking up dinner or ingredients to make dinner. The whole center of the super market is one giant prepared food area specializing in Italian. Beer is near the bakery. |
62 /100 Wantagh Beverage (Beer Store) 3341 BELTAGH AVE About what you expect from a little beer and soda place like this. A number of shelves full of the common goodies you see in a lot of places with a few odds and ends to hunt for. Unfortunately, no mixed 6, but most of their interesting stuff is in bombers or 750s. A and R isn’t far away and has a better selection, but this place isn’t bad if you are in (or like me, are from) the area and need to pick up something quick. Check in the back left corner for the more interesting stuff and the front left corner for local stuff. |
