| 50 /100 222 E MAIN STREET, SUITE U6 “A small brewery and restaurant serving wood fired pizzas in dowtown Elkin, a small town not far off I-77. They only had four house beers on tap when we visited plus other guest craft beers and bottled domestics. The beers brewed here were just ok. Food was good. The hot wings were big and juicy with plenty of sauce and the mushroom pizza we ordered was pretty good. I would not come back for the beer however.“ |
| 72 /100 222 E MAIN STREET, SUITE U6 “Visited Angry Troll’s tap house on Saturday 03/11/2017. Its a small 2 barrel operation with a roomy tap room in the basement of a restaurant above. Plenty of seating and a couple couches. Angry Troll owners recently bought the restaurant as well, which is excellent (222 Public House). They had 4 beers on which were OK. This small operation needs time to stabilize their recipies. Nothing undrinkable, but nothing outstanding either. The service was great. One of the owners served us and was really friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I look forward to returning in a few months to see what progress they have made.“ |
