“A local grocery store that stocks a decent selection of craft brews. Bottle and can only. Every few weeks they do a beer clearance and you can get decent deals. Good selection of local craft brews. They even stock a few classic corked beers.“

“Brown truck has come on strong since they popped on the scene last year. Remodeled building used to be a parts house and pawn shop. Private lot parking, nice outdoor seating, and inside with a bar and tables. Inside its clean, and new. The service is fast and friendly always. Samples, flights, pints, and growlers all available easily. Cool numbering system helps you keep track of their large lineup. They have seasonal releases, as well as a tried and true lineup. There is always something interesting on. Other patrons in the bar are friendly and I have met many cool people here from all walks of life, including the Vanderbilt’s to the average Joe. 100% recommended.“

“On the north end of Main Street, easy to find but it confused the hell out of my GPS for some reason. Looks like a store front, but with a nice patio with comfy furniture plus cornhole. Inside all the beers are numbered, by batches I assume. Everyone knew everyone, so there were some amazingly intimate conversations going on, plus the Panthers game. Flights of four or full pours are available. Beers were tasty and creative and included a number of seasonal stuff. Great place.“

“Strong out of the gate for a recent brewery startup in High Point, NC...December 2015 I believe. So new I didn’t know there was anything in the area and totally by luck drove by it on the way back from a business dinner I’d been taken to nearby. This is a really cool place...very well done taproom...but it’s the outside patio that takes the cake...roomy...nice furniture...and landscaping...plus music themed murals on the outside walls. I understand there is often live music and food trucks...so I mean...what else could you want...oh yeah...beer...lol! Well they have some very good beers. There are 8 taps...I believe I had 6 on my recent visit. The Belgium blonde and the raspberry stout were very good...I think the saison was my favorite. There was also a scotch ale, an English dark ale, and a Belgium dubbel. My only disappointment was they didn’t have a pale ale or IPA when I stopped by. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that both the staff and the clientele that night were extremely friendly and talkative...which turned a fortuitous stop into a nice little adventure. I hope to visit here again when next in the area...hopefully on a warm night with some live music!“

“On North Main Street in High Point. Good selection of bottles and some taps on as well. The service was OK, certainly nothing stellar. It gets pretty loud in here at times. So be warned. STILL not one of my favorite places, but worth a stop from time to time.“

“Funny that a Teeter ends up being my 400th place rating. Oh well! Shopping center, so plenty of parking. Cashier was helpful, but very few people working within the store as it was late. Larger than normal beer selection for a Teeter, which means that there as a lot more macro beer but also a larger selection of US and local craft. The selection of bombers and other large format beers was laughable, even compared to other Teeters.“

“This is a very cool place. The beer list is great. Service was good as well. On this trip I ordered a pizza and was impressed. You can get just about anything you can think of on a pizza. Already I’m hooked!! Keep up the good work!“

“My 2nd visit to Blue Rock. I enjoy this place. Great ambiance, pretty good food and an excellent draft selection (considering it is restaurant in HP). They have really good food, its a little pricy, but they have good daily specials. I’ll continue to hit this place up on my lunch break when it is slow @ work.“

“Updated after a recent expansion: This is my go to bottle shop. Love this place. David knows his shit. He has hooked me up with a bulk order for my wedding reception, he hooked up a friend of mine with a similar deal. There are at least 10 rotating taps. it is the place to shop in HP. Also very much worth the drive from GSO or WS. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed. The expansion created room to just sit and enjoy a draft beer. Great spot to hang out after work. Almost always a fun crowd. The regulars will welcome you with open arms.“

“Originally reviewed: 3/25/10. Stopped in here after hearing about it here on the site. Just about a mile off of the 311 exit going into High Point. Sits in a little strip mall area. One girl was behind the desk when I walked in. She acknowledged me, but that was the extent of her "help." Fine with me though. I know what to look for. There’s 2 coolers of beer, one on each side of the doorway. One is dedicated to chilled sixers, the other to bombers and singles. There’s a few racks of sixers and lots of singles spread about. There’s even a small area for glassware. Nice touch. They carried a decent Belgian selection, along with some other decent European brews. Domestically, I saw a few from Founders, Victory, SN, Bell’s, Terrapin, Duck-Rabbit, Highland, etc. I grabbed a mixed-sixer and was on my way. Pretty reasonably-priced. Anywhere from $1.69/12oz upwards to $5-$6/12oz for some of the bigger Belgian beers. Not a bad place for some great beer. Definitely the best stop in High Point. Recommend.“

“Originally reviewed: 1/27/09. This is by far the best selection I have seen in any Harris Teeter store! I saw some nice selections from Stone, as well as, Ommegang, Highland, Brooklyn, Natty Greene’s, SN, SA, Magic Hat, Flying Dog, DFH, etc. Some excellent stuff here. I even found Natty’s newly bottled RIS, Black Powder Stout! I grabbed a 4-pack of that and was on my way. The prices on some things are better than I’ve seen them at other places, but overall, it’s about average pricing. Not a bad place to stop for beer for sure, especially in this town, that is lacking in the "good beer stops" dept. Definitely check this one out.“

“The best beer store in the Triad! Great selection and David knows everything about beer. Needs to expand his store as it is a little cramped.“
