82 /100 Iron Horse Station (Restaurant) 24 S ANDREW AVE This is the only bar left downtown. It is in the bottom of a classy, historic inn. With the wood and stone structure, fireplace, tasteful decor and excellent menu this is a great place for a meal. The 6 taps are dedicated solely to quality beers always with something from Highland on and some interesting micros that rotate. I’ve seen Brooklyn Black Chocolate stout, French Broad Rye Hopper, Nantahala pale and others. The bottle selection is mostly swill to appease the macro drinkers. |
