“Visited with Franco. Attractive taproom right in the middle of downtown, in an old storefront. Lots of barrels stacked in the front windows, so you can’t miss it. Street parking wasn’t difficult on a Thursday afternoon. Small serving bar on one side, scattered tables of various kinds, and a balcony sort of thing. Sadly the brewhouse isn’t visible, but we did sit next to the barrels. They did have food, although we didn’t eat; strange to have food but not be open at lunchtime. 14 beers on offer plus one guest tap from Wooden Robot. Flights of four are available, and the server had good recommendations and knew the beers thoroughly, including the ingredients and brewing techniques. Solid beers as well, I’m glad I can get them easily in Charlotte. Worth a visit.“
