“This is the smallest and least beer focused of the Barley’s Taprooms. The tap list is serviceable with plenty of sessionable regional brews, but there wasn’t anything really awesome available. I think it’s really weird that Barley’s is in the tiny town of Spindale, there’s not even really a downtown scene of any kind that I saw. I just ate some artichoke ale dip for a quick snack. I guess if you were in Spindale for whatever reason, this would be the place to go for a beer.“

“Given the fact that there is precious little to choose from in Rutherfordton this place is a gold mine. Love the calzones here and they have markedly more beer to choose from than anywhere else in town, again not tough to do but its nice to be able to choose from something better than yuengling and sweetwater.“

“This is the fourth Barley’s I have been to. It is in a nice space. Brick walls, high seelings. It has a very casual laid back atmosphere. We were there on a quiet sunday afternoon. The staff were friendly and seemed reasonably Knowledgable. There were about 25 taps and a few bottles. The selection is definately lacking compared to other Barleys.Of course Spindale is not a thriving metropolis so for the area the selection is very good. Barleys Pizza is always great. If you are in the area I highly recomend stopping in.“

“The greatest venue to eat, enjoy quality beer, and listen to the greatest live music in a 60 mile ratios. Puts up a great fight against any venue in Asheville, Greenville, or any other surrounding area!!“
