76 /100 Cork & Barrel - Jamestown (Beer Store) 1902 8TH AVE SW It’s real easy to say this but this might be the best bottle shop in North Dakota. Like most bottle shops ice seen they keep a ton of beer in the coolers, mostly of the BMC variety but they also have some craft six packs. What separates this place are the loose bottles. I spotted 10 Mikkellers, nogne o, several Jolly Pumpkins, and 3 Fontaine. What’s better is that they actually put there craft stuff on sale. I licked up a couple of Mikkellers and nogne o for 1/3 less than I typically see. They also had a solid, refridgertated pick six section near the front entrance. I’m.lve finding these unexpected gems. Thanks rate beer! |
60 /100 Cork & Barrel - Jamestown (Beer Store) 1902 8TH AVE SW Decent little beer shop just off I-94 in Jamestown. Usually good for picking up a few things on the way home for the holidays. |
72 /100 Cork & Barrel - Jamestown (Beer Store) 1902 8TH AVE SW Who would have thought there would be a beer store this nice in the middle of not much but long stretches of highway and cornfields in Eastern North Dakota? Just off the freeway in Jamestown, ND right next to all the big chain hotels. Surprising beer selection for the area with lots of Midwest, Colorado, and west coast offerings. I saw a bomber of New Belgium Lips of Faith Super Cru. Service has always been top notch. I think the sales staff get excited when someone comes in to buy something other than macro beers.
Several large cases of 6 packs, one large case of bombers, and a separate case of singles for a BYO six pack setup. Really nice beer store. |
70 /100 IDK Bar & Grill (Restaurant) 1009 13TH ST NE Bit of a minor beer mecca in the middle of rural North Dakota. Always some decent tap offering if nothing mind blowing, and the food is above average and interesting pub grub. If you ever find yourself out there, it’s worth a stop. |
