“Went here several years ago (early fall 2010 I believe). This place is on a main thoroughfare through town. Plenty of free parking, but I remember it being busy and hot and had to walk a piece from the back to get to the place. I came here to buy cheese. I tried like 30 types of cheese, seems like I liked the goat cheese the best. Bar is on the left, when I was here selection was limited. They also had I would guess around 100 bottles at that time and had two-hearted. I would make this part of your Ohio Amish experience. I would also go to Coblentz and get a pound of almond studded chocolate toffee squares.“

“Stopped in here on a whim while driving through on 39 on my way back home. I mostly stopped because it was the Heini’s Cheese location that I hadn’t been to yet. I was really surprised when I stepped inside to find it was mostly a beer and wine shop with a couple bars set up in the back. The beer was on the left side of the store with the cheese section, the wine aisles were on the right. There was a beer bar in the back left with 10 or so taps of all craft beer with at least half of them being of interest. Their beer selection was pretty solid. Most of it was room temperature, but there was a section toward the front of the store that was refrigerated 4 and 6 packs. I think I saw something about mixed 6 packs being available as well. While I was meandering a few different people checked on me to see if I needed anything. Not too pushy, which is a plus for me. There was a small station on the right side that was kind of like a cafe with sandwiches and coffee and whatnot. There were lots of gourmet food offerings as well with things like local pickles, noodles, coffee, canned goods, hot sauces, chips, spices, fudges and many more that I’m sure I’m forgetting. The parking lot was more than sufficient, but getting out can be a little tricky, especially when turning left. I would recommend going toward the back of the parking lot and catching the light that crosses 39 right beside the building.“
