“Plenty of parking here at Marley’s Brewery and Grill. Dim lighting and soft rock on radio. 11 beers on tap. Couple of bartenders. Plenty of wait staff for tables. Got bar, tables, and a patio. Shirts for sale and crowlers to go also. I like my beer and they have food here also. Nice stop for a beer. Cheers!“

“Pretty good store when I was driving through. Noticed the windows were huge and blaring in sun, woooeeeee, but figured my "anal mentality" would see that. But last I checked they still do cases and 12 packs, soooooooo, in other words, well.....moving on for this guy.“

“Right off I-80, and I mean right, in Bloomsburg, a sleepy area in general but quite beautiful much of the time. Interesting location with rooms for sleeping, a “fine dining” building separate from the brewpub, and nice grounds. Food was excellent, servers took care of me, family friendly in the local tavern/inn way. They do have flights but they get to pick which subset you try; not a problem as there’s good variation available in styles. If I had to judge the brewer (Donny) from my flight, I’d say he’s a great masher, as everything has great mouthfeel, structure, head quality, etc. with pleasant grain character, but also has really dialed in adjunct (e.g., apricot) amounts to perfectly compliment without dominating or bogging.“

“Nice place to stop while passing through central PA on I80 (right next to the exit in fact). The décor is very nice...mostly a wood barn-like feel...and the brewery (which serves food too) is part of a larger inn and separate fine dining restaurant. There were 11 beers when I visited with an additional 2 that showed being out. The selections includes a very decent cask ale as well (Red Rye IPA), a barrel aged cherry sour (they had a number of beers in barrels that were aging), an especially good Belgium pilsner, and a nice IPA called Double Journeyman. The porter was also pretty good. I will keep a mental note of how easy it is to get to this place from I80 (as well as Berwick and Old Forge). I’d like to checkout the fine dining restaurant at another time too.“

“Large inn woth several building, just off I-80, with plenty of parking. The main inn building/reception has a "fine dining" restaurant. There’s a separate large gray building that houses the brewpub - restaurant style upstairs, with an L-shaped 10-person bar, and bar only downstairs. Beer selection is the same in both - 10 in various styles, including one sour. Flights of six are their choice, though, not yours. Young staff are enthusiastic, friendly and hard working. Food is tasty and creative. Worth a stop.“

“Directly across the street from Weis. Small closed in box-like place, as are most distributors here. Mainly macro with a few smaller PA breweries. Cases and twelve packs only.“

“Large warehouse style place. Huge selection, just not a lot of very interesting stuff. Prices about the same as elsewhere in town. Cases and twelve packs only, of course.“

“I found it easier to buy beers from Weis than from any of the beer distributors, mainly because Weis sells actual six packs, and even offers mixed sixers for &11.99. Ticking beers mainly, with a few decent PA beers. Worth a look.“

“Large family style restaurant. Large central bar in one room. A dozen beer, most were buttery. Available as flights of four, six or eight, all doggy themed. Food was chain-like pub food. Plenty of parking.“

“Nice food and above average brewpub beer. The peanut butter ale is a real winner. Overall, a really nice place. I’d go if I lived in the area.“

“Lovely building. Interior is wood. Service was good, but waitress not that knowledgeable about beer. My grass fed burger was excellent. They had a decent number of styles on tap, and a cask ale (bonus for that).“

“Stop number two on our Bloomsburg adventure. My first time to Turkey Hill. Awesome looking building from the outside, parking lot was packed. I hear the upstairs is an awesome restaurant but for this visit we stuck with the pub. Brewing area is right inside the door, appears to be just an industrial home brew kit. We got seated at the largest table in the place and sat down to take in our surroundings. Lots of old wood and stones all over the place, two person band playing in the corner, a few TV’s behind the bar. My seat was a little uncomfortable as it was essentially a board with no cushion. Quality was pretty good, lots of cool things hanging on the wall, food was top notch, and my beers all came in the correct glasses. Service was a little hit or miss. Our server was working most of the room so it took awhile to get our drink order in, and ever longer for it to arrive. Once we placed our food order the service got a lot quicker thanks to the other servers picking up the slack. I got the Black and Blue burger and it was cooked perfectly and tasted great. I also got to try some of the buffalo dip and NY pretzels and both were awesome. Selection was pretty good as well. They had 10-11 beers on, I tried the Helles and the Oatmeal stout and both were pretty good, but nothing earth shattering. I also tried a bit of the Grapefruit IPA and like the others it was good but not great. Overall this place is definitely worth the stop, for the food alone, but don’t expect it to blow you out of the water.“

“Stopped in here yesterday during our beer trip, my first visit to Marley’s. Walking in I instantly realized this place was a little bigger than I thought it would be walking up. Pretty nice space with a decent sized bar with a few TV’s scattered around it, pool table in the back of the bar area. Dining room is a good sized room with boothes on both sides and tables down the middle. We where the only people in the dining room so it felt much bigger than it really is, and I hear it gets pretty packed most nights so I can see it being a little tight on some nights. Quality seemed to be pretty good. Nice stuff on the walls and most of my beers were in the correct glasses. Can’t comment on the quality of the food as we already had dinner plans but the menu looked pretty good to me. The service was really hit or miss. Our server was really attentive when we first got there but as our group grew from three to six she never came back around once. Our new arrivals had to go up to the bar and get their own beers and once we where ready to leave they had to locate our server for us so we could get the check. Selection was pretty good. They had over ten beers on, most of which from different styles. I got a Kong Kolsch and it was decent but nothing to write home about. I tried a few samples from some of the others and they were mostly the same. I did enjoy my sample of porter and I was planning on ordering one for myself but that was about the time our server disappeared. Overall I would say this place is worth the stop but I wouldn’t expect anything earth shattering.“

“A nice sized place with a pleasant atmosphere. The service was great and the food excellent but the beers were fairly mediocre. I was happy that they had 10 on tap though. Prices were decent. We had a very nice visit.“

“My favorite place to eat & drink craft beer. Their IPAs & burgers are amazing, especially the Dog House DIPA. Best wing night in the area, 3 special flavors that change every week. Kid friendly atmosphere, my son loves to go here with me and my wife and he's just under 3 years old, but also a perfect setting for a date night as well. I've had great service everytime I've been there. I can't say anything bad about Marley's in Bloom.“

“This is a newer brewery opened in the Turkey Hill Inn. It is fairly open inside with a large bar and ample seating. Something louder was going on upstairs, as we could hear stomping, laughing, and other reverie. The service was very friendly and kept us full of peanuts - had you asked us if we wanted any, we would have said "no", but then we just kept munching on them. The beers were solid. Our 6th stop along I-80 in central PA.“

“Marley’s is nicely located in downtown Bloomsburg, with street parking fairly easy to locate. We saddled up to the bar for 5th stop of the day, ordered our beers, and took in the atmosphere. Obviously dog lovers, the beers don some interesting names. Their beers are solid, and I hear the food is good, though we had just eaten at Old Forge and did not partake here.“

“Beautifully remodeled in the middle of downtown Bloomsburg. We had some huge and delicious burgers with monster onion rings and sweet potato fries. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the beers, pretty astounding for a Saturday afternoon. Every beer we had was good especially the porter on nitrogen and one of the IPAs. There was a nice selection of beers on draft, probably eight or nine; with an Octoberfest, a double IPA, and a Pumpkin coming soon. We’ll be back.“

“Update 2/11/18. Able to sit at the bar this time and had a better experience. Nice and cozy, with TVs to watch. I had a tasty hummus appetizer and greasy turkey sandwich. This time I got to try 4 of their beers (Belgian ale, hoppy pale ale, porter, and kolsch) and all were excellent. So now I feel it is certainly worth a stop!

8/6/11. This brewpub is part of an upscale restaurant (and inn I believe) in Bloomsburg. The bar itself is pretty small with not a whole lot of seating. We asked to sit outside and we first told to check with the hostess as there is supposed to be a server assigned to the outdoor seating area. So we did and found a seat outside (there were only a few tables, all but 1 unoccupied). There actually was no outdoor server and we had to go back in to order beers. Seems like the communication between staff could improve. The beers themselves were ok, nothing to write home about. They attempted an interesting style (saison), but it was mediocre. We didn’t try any of the food; I suppose that might have added to the experience, but for beer alone, not a place I would seek out (I wish I’d spent more time at Marley’s!). 3/7/10/NA/7/11 (62/100)“

“This is a small, brand new brewpub I found accidentally while driving through downtown Bloomsburg on my way to Turkey Hill. A very pleasant surprise, actually. They seem to be in full production as there were 10 taps on, 4 regulars and 6 seasonals. I tried 5 of their beers and all but 1 were great (especially the IPA and black IPA). Plenty of unique and interesting styles to choose from. The menu is pretty typical pub fare; I just got the hot pretzels with cheese dipping sauce which were fantastic. A very nice new bar, plenty of seating as well. I have nothing bad to say about this place - they are making great beers and that’s what it’s all about. In response to the previous rater, lots of brewpubs serve their beer in refrigerated beer glasses, both good and bad ones. I used to be bothered by it, but I’ve realized now that it actually doesn’t affect the beer at all in terms of temperature, aroma, or enjoyment. So I don’t hold it against them. I think this place will do very well.“

“Of all the Weis Markets in Central PA that now sell beer, this one has by far the worst selection. Because it’s also located in a party-hardy town like Bloomsburg, it also has the best hours which is a bit like saying the food sucks but you get really big portions. Nobody who works there seems to have the slightest inkling about beer. It’s BMC stacked to the sky with only a few, and I mean few, local craft brews. They also card everybody. Only hit this place if the other beer stores in town are closed.“

“It’s your typical Pennsylvania beer warehouse where they stack the BMC high and deep. They did have some local craft brands like Troegs, Victory, Stoudt’s, Weyerbacher, and Yards. But the prices are decent and maybe soon they will sell some of Old Forge’s output.“

“A fantastic addition to the central PA brewpub scene. I was surprised at how good their beers were this soon after opening. I didn’t have one I thought was a dud. I especially enjoyed the Epiphany Pale Ale. The brewpub is located in what looks like a former barn. The bar area is in the basement and theirs also a restaurant area on the second floor. They had 7 things on tap and three things, including a pretty fair-to-middlin’ hefe, that they just added. They had a really nice crowd for a mid-week excursion. Luckily there’s a lot of parking there. Since the owners already have a fine dining establishment on the property, and a great local reputation, I expected the food to be good and it was and I also thought everything was very reasonably priced. It’s going to be fun watching this place grow.“

“A beautifully designed pub arose from the ruins of the old barn, The food was top notch, although maybe a little pricey, and the beer was surprisingly good. We sampled the IPA (really nice), the Pale Ale (clean and very drinkable) and the Porter (nice). The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definately be back.“

“I think as a space Marley’s is a wonderful place. Obviously a lot was invested on the decor to the wood trim to the molding. The bartenders that served were attentive and the tv’s were all turned to the game. The only drawbacks are the food. I ordered a cheeseburger medium well and got a sandwich with a lot of pink in the middle . The beers also need some work. They aren’t bad but I didn’t really have one that stood out. They also need to realize they look like amateurs when they serve beer for refrigerated glasses. It seems a nice addition to the town but if they’re going to survive they need to step their game a couple of notches.“

“Its a typical PA beer store with way too much beer stored next to the windows and a ton of floor space for bmc product. Luckily most of the product near the window was malt liquor so no loss there. Plus everything they have on the floor they have in the fridge. They had a nice selection of imports, like weihenstephan and chimay with PA micros and stuff you don’t often see around here line terrapin.“
