72 /100 The Loading Dock Bar & Grill (Restaurant) 101 MONAHAN ST This place has great food and large servings. BUt the beer selection is fairly basic. Service is great and the owner is a bit of a neat freak....which is a good thing. |
64 /100 The Loading Dock Bar & Grill (Restaurant) 101 MONAHAN ST Nice little restaurant with great bar food and a basic selection of beers. Its behind the shopping center and not seen from the road. On my visit they had offerings from Sam Adams, Wolavers, Harpoon, Anchor and Yards. Nothing out of the ordinary but its a nice place compared to the other local bars that only serve BMC. |
66 /100 Green Street Beverage (Beer Store) 319 S BLAKELY ST Updated Review: Stopped in again and was pleasantly surprised as the selection has grown. There is now a solid selection albeit unspectacular, mostly the brewers flagship brews. They do have a discounted shelf for cases that have not sold. Pricing was also improved. Will leave in old review for comparison sake.
OLD REVIEW: Typical distributor. I was told that the craft section used to be much bigger. On my visit it consisted of a a very limited amount of craft brews. Offerings from yards, victory, dogfish head and others i cant remember. There are better places to get beer in the area. |
50 /100 Joe’s Six Packs To Go (Beer Store) 620 N BLAKELY ST Sells six packs and also has a mix a six selection in the back. Offerings from Sam Adams, Troegs, Dundee, Saranac, Southern Tier, Bells, Sam Smith and many others. Nothing crazy but not bad choice to grab a sixer. Mix a six should be expanded. |
96 /100 Green Street Beverage (Beer Store) 319 S BLAKELY ST I stopped in last week and the store has expanded it’s craft beer selection. They also moved their craft beer to the front of the store as soon as you walk in. Nice selection of Stone, Founders and Oscar blues. They even had a couple of Breckenridge 471 small batch ipa. Staff is great. Picked up some Bells Kalamazoo on sale. Ill be back there again to check on their weekly updates and beer tastings. |
50 /100 Dunmore Deli (Beer Store) 1400 WHEELER AVE Part beer store and part bar. Setup where you can purchase and drink onsite. Doesnt look like much from the outside but they stock 4 coolers of craft beer sixers. Had offerins from Avery, DFH, Longtrail, Cisco, Anchor and others. Nothing crazy but when you need something quixkly and dont want to drive toJessup it works. |
48 /100 Billy B’s (Bar) 138 SMITH STREET Went about two months ago. Service was terrible. Waited about 15min for the bar tender to ask us what we wanted. Not her fault though, she was the only one back there makeing drinks for the restaurant as well as the bar. Food was very good. Great value. Nice beer selection, but some of the beers seemed old. Some cantillion which was nice, also some nice beers on tap. Service killed it for me though. |
44 /100 Brewers Outlet (Beer Store) 60 KEYSTONE INDUSTRIAL PARK Selection is decent for PA. They have most seasonals and carry some really good brands (Bells, Blue Point, Brooklyn, amongst many others.)
Middle of the road brewery.
The service is poor |
76 /100 Brewers Outlet (Beer Store) 60 KEYSTONE INDUSTRIAL PARK A good selection but being PA you can only buy cases. |
76 /100 Billy B’s (Bar) 138 SMITH STREET this palce is great. More ultra-premiums beers then I could count. Seven different Dogfish Head’s available - even World Wide Stout!! Good selection of Tap but it NEVER changes. Food is very good |
