“We came here 12.6.2017. This place is splitted in 2 areas: a restaurant and a bottle shop/tap room. We visited the latter. They had around 40 beers on tap, really interesting selection: a lot of sours and +10% beers. Check the prices, differing a lot by type. Food was just ok, we had a Burger and Chicken wings. We met some nice locals and had a very good time.“

“What a place. One half is just restaurant tables. The other is a pizza counter up front for take-away, a small bottle shop and a bar in back. Starting the food, it’s pizza, stromboli, calzones, etc that was recommended highly by the clientele at Berwick’s. I had a tasty calzone. 44 beers on tap, mostly interesting stuff, available in flights of four or full pours. The bottle shop had tons of quality that made up for a fairly limited quantity. Stuff like Almanac that I hadn’t seen elsewhere. Prices were OK. I’d rather shop here that at any of the buy-the-case distributors in a heartbeat. Staff was friendly, and even the young customers introduced themselves by name. Great place, worth a detour.“

“Two room place. One part is pretty much a deli with fresh seafood. Second room has beverages, including beer. Mostly sixers, but also some stuff for mixed sixers. Nothing too exciting. Good prices.“

“Very cool little bottle shop. Selection is limited, but in more of a thoughtful way. Coming from MD, many of the beers they had for sale are not available locally to me. The growler fill option was pretty cool too, but more variety would be awesome (it was around 90% pumpkin beers and IPAs when I went). As with most PA bottle shops prices were on the higher side, though not terrible.“

“This has become my go to place in the area. Italian restaurant on one side and a bottle shop on the other. A bar/tasting room area is currently in construction on the bottle shop side and will be a nice added addition. Service on the bottle shop side is great. Vince is the guy you want to talk to here and he will do everything he can to help you out. Selection is great for the York area and has a nice mixture of options both on the shelf and in the fridge. Best prices in the area. A few select bottles are probably on par for the area, but the majority are at least a buck or two cheaper, sometimes more. If you’re in the York area, this is a short 10-15 minute drive out of the way, but well worth it.“

“Stopped in here last night to meet up with another local BA and do a bit of IP trading. My first time hearing about this place so I was pretty psyched to check it out. I went to the pizza shop side first and was pleasantly surprised with the bottle selection. A good mix of styles from all over the world. They had some very nice bottles and a few things definitely interested me but the prices were a little on the high side so I decided to pass. Some of the other bottles had some great prices so I think it kind of evens itself out. We decided to go over to the dining room and have a beer and I was again surprised by how large it was. I tried to order a Daisy Cutter but it kicked so I went with a local option that was just ok, but not their fault. Service was good, she was quite attentive and got my order in pretty fast. I got a stromboli to go and it was pretty damn good. I really liked how you could choose the size that fit your appetite, I went with the medium size. Overall a really nice pizza shop / bottle shop that I will definitely return to when I am in the area.“

“Big place in the corner of a strip mall. Large selection of regional micros and a smattering of stuff from around the country. Handful of Belgian stuff. Prices are very good. I did not know that beer stores in Pennsylvania can only sell by the case - definitely no singles, or even six packs here! I don’t understand the archaic and random beer laws in the US, but if you know in advance it’s cases only, then this place is worth a stop.“

“Great selection of micros and imports. Knowledgeable staff and decent pricing. What more can you ask for in a beer distributor in a small town in PA?“

“at this place with afireinside96. I must say for the most part I do not like the PA Distributor laws and for the most part most distro’s (in the Lancaster area) don’t carry much of anything but big swill beers. this place was not the case. very good selection of Micro’s and I loved the imports. friendly staff and some odds and ends for the beer fan.“

“possibly the best distributor for 50 miles. nice selection of micros and imports. nice prices & friendly staff. they have several taps used to give out free samples of new product. best of all the macro swill is relegated to a single small isle and feels like it is the afterthought, not the good beer.“

“Big case shop outside of York, PA. While the majority of the store is macros or less-than-stellar imports (minimal attention to Belgians or anything else, really), the U.S. micro aisle makes up for a lot of this: good selections from Founders, Southampton, Bell’s, Weyerbacher, DFH, Stone, etc. All the solid PA distribution seems to be covered, plus they had cases of Bell’s Expedition - Batch 7251 (over two years old!). A couple of very cool finds, as they don’t seem to cycle through some of their bigger beers quickly. Worth a stop.“
