70 /100 140 MT RUSHMORE ROAD Huge place in a big old rambling building with lots of nooks and crannies, including an events hall with video games. Front is on the main drag, rear has a nice patio that opens onto the trail system and has a view of the hills, the parking lot and the dumpsters. Staffed mainly by foreign students before the pandemic, so you can hear a variety of languages here. Beers are just OK, flights of four, food is comfort style. Don't make the long drive from Rapid City of Spearfish just for this place, but if you're here anyway.... |
66 /100 511 MT RUSHMORE ROAD On the main strip in Custer. Beers are decent and food is pretty good - obviously this place is going to be busy during the summer. Nice stop and much better than the average tourist area restaurant. |
72 /100 511 MT RUSHMORE ROAD Visited 7th November 2019. 2 roomed bar and restaurant on main st in Custer. Nice trad looking place. Lots of local memorabilia on the walls. Ate her and went through the beer range via a flight. Beer OK. Brewed somewhere else locally. Service good. The bar area is a bit livelier. Tunes and screens. Some local beers on tap and in cans so tried a few of those. In November only place open so not much competition. Decent spot though. |
60 /100 511 MT RUSHMORE ROAD On the main street of a pretty touristy town, next door to Sick & Twisted. Two sides to the downstairs, one all restaurant, the other with a long bar and booths. Upstairs has an outdoor deck. Just four of their beers on offer, available as a flight, and there are a range of other large craft flagships. Food was just OK pub food. Prices were OK considering the area. |
74 /100 511 MT RUSHMORE ROAD Saturday on our trip we had lunch here with Erica, Chris and Patty. Nice new 2 level bar made to look old and western. We ate upstairs and had great knowledgeable service. The flight of beers was preset but was ok. We had a good time. |
