86 /100 12900 FM 3436 ROAD Its a brewery, what else you need? And because they officially weren’t open, but were kind enough to let me in and serve me some tasters, the ambiance is perfect. Friendly people and great beers. OK place. |
80 /100 2709 DICKINSON AVE Second stop, a short drive from Galveston Bay Brewing. This is a Texas stereotype location. Dirt lot to park in, entire place is on stilts for storm flooding purposes, crawfish featured prominently, including in one of the beers. Inside is a few tables and a bar, nothing special. Flights of six available. I was actually pretty impressed with most of my flight, including the hoppy stuff and the gose. This is a place I would frequent if it were closer. |
74 /100 12900 FM 3436 ROAD First stop of the evening. This is a large quonset hut out in kind of the middle of nowhere. Parking in the lot is not a problem. Inside its fairly roomy, but a lot of the space must be devoted to brewing. Service was super friendly, the guy wanted to chat about their beers. Flights available. The scottish ale was pretty meh, and the gose was hella salty, but the black IPA and smoked beer were solid enough. A place to keep an eye on. |
76 /100 2709 DICKINSON AVE Great atmosphere, music and beer selection,. But the beer itself I didn’t find all to appealing, they all had the same horrible aftertaste. |
72 /100 2709 DICKINSON AVE Pretty decent little place. Decent patio, but no shade unfortunately. They ran out of a few pretty early, but still had a good selection of beers. |
