“Really nice space on the corner of an apartment building. Beers were uniformly solid - winner of the flight was probably a Munich Dunkel, but the scotch ale was also great. Basically, they seem to do malty beers well; the others were around fine but not anything I'd go out of my way for. All told, very cromulent brewpub--would be nice to have in the neighborhood, do not regret stopping by, but not worth going too far out of one's way for.“

“Nicely set-up, semi-modern tasting room, with plenty of seating. 7 house taps, plus another 7 guest (beers and cider). $2 taster pours of everything. The beers are fine, but not really all that well executed. Decent service. Pretty middling spot.“

“Visited after about a year of being open. Pretty bare bones place, with seemingly little thought or effort in the tasting room. 6 beers on tap -- no flights at all! Just pints and half pints, though the bartender was nice enough to let me sample all the beers. Beer quality was quite weak, with nothing even remotely interesting. Uninspiring place.“

“Awesome luxury supermarket in North Seattle, terrific for the splurge. The beer selection is always great too, with a focus on West Coast and more ’rare’ beers. Always changing selection, and you can often find the hip bottles, some long after they’ve disappeared from other spots in the city. If you’re in the area it is a must stop.“

“My local supermarket, well stocked with good food of course, but over the years the beer selection (and wine for that matter, and now sake) has grown and been refined very well. You can often find the ’hip’ bottles that have sold out in other spots around town, and usually a few cents cheaper. Huge selection from 24oz cans of Chelada to $30 bottles of Bruery specialties. Lots of local beers and turnover when new ’specials’ are out. A decent selection of major Euro brands as well, and dozens of decent six-packs. All in all, a wonderful spot for beer in North Seattle. Glad to have it in my neighborhood“

“Came here because it was close to my hotel room. The selection was nice. A good amount of Belgian’s. I wish all the six packs could be sold as single bottles. They did have some good stuff, but I don’t know how it compares to the better beer stores in Seattle because this was the only store I visited on my 2 day exploration of Seattle.“

“I would never say that this place doesn’t deserve a spot in the database, but I do understand how others could be justified in saying, "if you put this in the database, why not every other "market place" that has a beer selection?" I will say though, this stands out in comparison with other fresh market places. They had a wonderful selection, given that it’s a market. I found some beers here that I wasn’t expecting e.g. - a growler of Frement’s IPA. There are a lot of different singles to chose from, and a lot of six-packs as well. Some of their beers were on sale, but mostly the prices align with what other retailers are selling their beers for. They had a few employees lingering around the beer section, so I am sure if one had a question, they could answer it. Pretty good place, but I will be stopping by again unless they have a "rare" beer that I can’t find anywhere else.“

“Perfectly decent selection for a grocery, not sure it quite matches up to Whole Foods Roosevelt, QFC University Village, or even Ballard Market. Some of the beers can be on the pricy side -- 6.99 for an Orval?“

“Not at all sure we need this in the db, but it’s true they do a great job. They have three solid walls of beer, and a gimungous wine selection right across the aisle. They reoutinely make huge wine buys and pretty massive beer buys, too, so they’re no stranger to massive displays of really good beer, sometimes even hard to find stuff. Prices are generally fair, and their closeouts can really be sweetSt Bern Spec Ed was a great example, dropping at one point to $12 IIRC. Steve’s an awesome beer guy and he really lets craft stuff take center stage over the industrials most of the time.“

“As far as grocery stores go, this one probably has the best beer selection in the Seattle area. Top notch selection of local, regional, and national craft beers along with some great belgians and other imports. Reasonable prices for the area. I can usually find something here that’s not available at Seattle’s specialty beer shops.“
