| 72 /100 Yell! Ale! Gifu (Restaurant) 7 HANEMACHI “As far as I could determine in my research Gifu’s ONLY place for craft beer on tap. A bar that leans a bit towards restaurant territory and as such kids are allowed until 5PM I’ve heard.
The atmosphere is tons of wood and it has a cool earthy exterior and interior (all earth tones, wood and possibly a red clay like cladding). I liked they had some 1100 yen side-by-side tasting sets for the Ushitora IPL/IPA and the Y Market/Oni-Densetsu collaboration.
The taplist was varied and interesting enough. I ordered the very tasty Beef Gyoza for 680 yen and next time I’ll get the Deep Fried Gyoza for 480. My Aichi friend she thought the focus on BBQ and Chinese Food was weird, I think so too but I enjoyed my gyoza.
A must in Gifu as there isn’t much else in town.“ |
