“Hey JohnC rated this place awesome. About 18 taps, 15 are house beers. Large spaces in an office strip mall. Easy parking. Just off I-5. Beers are all well made. Lots of games, but they were cordoned off today. Looks like cans or 6packs to go in the refrigerator. $15 including tax for a flight of 4.“

“Updated after a visit on Thursday 3rd February 2022. The place has almost doubled in size since my first visit. They have also decided to brew mostly Lagers/Pils/Helles in various styles. Found 14 new rates on this visit, 12 of their own brews and two guest taps. Visited on 21st Dec 2019 with my wife, daughter and son-in-law. Bright and clean unit based around 'gaming'. Bench tables and seating mostly, but other tables and chairs too. Drinking food very good (Won-tons, taco's, etc), beer OK, some good. They offer three different flights (of four beers), Lager, Hoppy and Brewers Choice, plus other house brewed beers. Brewing equipment in plain view, loads of board games to play, friendly staff and customers. Ten new rates for me (I am still the only person on RateBeer to have reviewed any of their beers, as at 22nd Dec 2019).“

“Visited on 12th Jan 2018. Impressed, helpful staff, keen prices and a huge selection of beers. Wish I had gone there earlier on my holiday, will be back (hopefully). March 2019 sees me revisiting as I am back in California. Still holds a fantastic selection of beers and other forms of alcohol. A few bargains to be alongside plenty of new beers but overall the prices are not cheap, quality is there though.“

“This is a new brewery/taproom in Laguna Hills. It faces the 5 freeway in the heart of furniture row. The service was excellent. The atmosphere inside was very nice; there were lots of board games to choose from to keep you busy and they had a nice selection of beers“

“Typical ambiance and minimal service with a large selection, lots of singles and some local stuff. I was able to round up 42 new ticks in a limited amount of time and probably spent around $100. The singles section was a bit of a scattershot, as is generally the case with Total Wine. Seemingly the best place to buy beer in the area.“

“Close to my hotel, so stocked up with some Cali goodies. Seemed to be a somewhat smaller TW than I have visited previously, but had some nice things that would not likely be in Minnesota. Quite a bit outside LA, so guessing they have stuff sitting around longer on the shelves. As usual, prices were solid and limited service provided/offered.“

“Visited on the afternoon of 21st May 2015. My first ever BJ’s experience and I liked it. High ceiling and spacious, the one roomed place looks smart, tidy and clean. Brewing equipment (un-used for some time by the look of it) dominates the right hand side as you walk in, the bar just past the fermenting towers. Large screens dotted around the walls and above the bar area, piped music in the background. I had two flights of their own brews, four tall tasting glasses on each. Nicely presented and only one was poor out of the eight in my eyes. Guest taps did not look too exciting: lots of well known breweries and beers for non beer geeks and normal people. Fairly quiet, so was looked after very well: sat at the bar. Did not eat. Overall this was a good experience and I would have no problem visiting more BJ’s if they are all as pleasant as this place.“

“New location just off of the freeway at El Toro. Nice big location with tons of beer on the shelves and a half decent amount in the cooler. Service and prices are the same as all the Total Win locations. Pretty decent selection of beers.“

“This BJ’s is brand new in July 2004. It replaced a Gordon Biersch. The interior is spacious, plenty of tables along w/ plenty of room between tables. I went there on a Friday nite and the place was packed, but we were seated faster than they told us we would. About the beer, it was very good. I had their dunkelweizen. It was a nice version of one. To my surprise, they had Sierra Nevada Rauchbier on draft. I had that too. I’m definitely going back“
