Liquor Emporium (Beer Store)
“Moved from Philly to Lompoc last year and searched for a supplier of imported and top craft beers. Liquor Emporium became my go to store with outstanding selection and great service. If there is a way to get it, they will find it.“

Liquor Emporium (Beer Store)
“Visited December 14, 2014.

This was a spur of the moment decision while driving up 101 to take the detour way out to Lompoc to tick a liquor store. I’ve been looking at this place on the map for several years and yesterday when I saw the sign pointing toward the air base I figured, what the heck. It’s actually a pretty decent store, but like most things, it’s not worth an hour detour by itself. Heading into town on 1 and then heading out of town on 1 and on 135 towards Orcutt however are worth the drive if you’ve never been through that area. Very scenic drive.

The store has about a dozen fridge doors of beer and a coupe of shelves as well. Nothing crazy rare but they do have both good beers and local beers, and plenty of them. They had the usual Stone, Firestone, Green Flash, Lagunitas, Sierra Nevada, Knee Deep, Bruery, Bootlegger’s, etc. They also had some Mirror Mirror and Abyss from Deschutes along with some barrel aged Santas from Lost Abbey and what looked like Deliverance. The local beer includes Figueroa Mountain, Barrel House 101, and a handful of others that I can’t remember off the top of my head.

Prices were about middle of the road for a liquor store. Service was friendly. I bought one bottle, a diet Coke, and a pack of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. It’s a nice store in a nice area but there are lots of other places on the coast that I still need to explore so I wont be a regular here, but if you are in the area for whatever reason stop by because the next closest place is probably in Santa Barbara.“
