“This place replaced the Danielmark brewery, and the Danielmark brewer is now the brewer/owner. Although he uses more or less he same recipes as a starting point, he now has a lot more freedom to explore, and the beers show it. Just half a dozen on tap but all were tasty, and you can do a flight of all plus their hard seltzer. The place itself is an old bungalow with a churchy tower and an awesome outdoor space with several decks, patio tables, covered tables, and a stage - I visited for open mic Wednesday, one of the better organized open mics with talent ranging from 16 year olds to 80 somethings, and even two rappers. No food, but you can bring in what you like, and DoorDash knows them well. Fantastic place.“

“Big restaurant with every inch of walls and ceiling covered in some sort of memorabilia, but tastefully dune. Huge tap list of mostly WY beers. Friendly, fast service and good food.“

“Super place. Great beer, super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Don't think they have food but not sure , we were passing through town. Some lesser found styles done to style, along with favorites, all styles we sampled quite tasty.“

“Interior is open yet has an intimate feel. The servers knew their craft, if they could be a tad hard to catch. What beers they brew are good, though - so this definitely deserves a visit if you live and/or work in or near Cheyenne, or are just passing through. I was the latter.“

“Feels like I've been to this brewery in a previous life, the deja vu feelings are strong. Still mainly a restaurant that also offers beer. Food and beer are still pretty decent. Parking can fill if there's a farmer's market or some other event, otherwise it should be no problem.“

“This is the 3rd brewery in this space, the 2nd I've been too. Same setup as the last place that was here. Longer wrap around bar with plenty of seating. The beer is good and clean. Good service and burgers.“

“Brewpub in downtown Cheyenne. Rather large, with a large bar, indoor tables, and outdoor patio. Sports bar feel with plenty of tvs inside. They had a pretty large tap list, around 10 taps. Good selection - a few ipas, Pilsner, Oktoberfest, porter, etc. American pub fare with an emphasis on pizzas. I had a spicy siracha Hawaiian pizza which was quite good. Enjoyable stop and one of the few (or possibly only) Cheyenne breweries that serves food!“

“Cool brewery in downtown Cheyenne. A somewhat small place. Bar fits about 6 people. Then a scattering of small tables. Music, no TVs. 8 taps, a variety of styles (including chili ale, coffee oatmeal stout, California common, export stout, and other common styles). No food but occasional food trucks (seems like once a week). A solid beer stop, check in for a lot least a pint. Prices are cheap too (for this East Coaster).“

“Stopped in for dinner post covid. I really liked the beer list with a nice variety of Wyoming choices and the food was good with huge portions. Staff were very nice, good place for beers, or beers and food. Hadn't had much Wyoming craft beer before and found some nice ones to drink. Didn't expect much from Wind River and liked all I had from them.“

“Visited on 5th November 2019. Huge sprawling bar and restaurant with a huge lit up sign guiding you in means it's hard to miss. Looks like heaven for an American Picker inside with all sorts of signs and memorabilia on the walls and every surface. Good mix of beer with a set list of more macro stuff plus a rotating list of 20+ beers from local and more well kniwn West Coast brewers. Picked up a few new ticks here. Service was good. Food decent too. Don't do small pours though. Definitely worth a stop.“

“Visited on 5th November 2019. Small single room venue a block away from Accomplice. Smart decor and a friendly welcome. 8 beers on tap. Flights available and small pours. Good range of styles and the beer was decent enough. Service was friendly. Prices good. Nice place.“

“Visited on 5th November 2019. Situated downtown at the old railway station with plenty of trains rumbling past sits this place. Combined bar and brewery. Bar is large single room. Nice decor and plenty of seating. When you arrive you get a card that then charges you per 0.1oz of beer. You then go and pour your own. So great for a ticker! Had small pours of styles I don't much care for and larger pours of better stuff. Beer was decent enough. Prices good plus the food was great. It's a decent gimmick. Worth a stop.“

“Really neat concept going on here. All the beers on tap are self serve. They provide shelves of different glassware and you pour your own at the tap station. Very easy to try all 14 beers and have as little as 1 oz each. Prices seem to be about 30 cents per oz on average so rather reasonable to try a lot of beers for a great price without wasting beer or money. That alone makes this place really stand out. 12 of 14 taps were their beers and of those 12, 9 were some sort of basic ipa. The food was okay and the service was...? good considering it was 90% me serving myself other than bringing out my food order. Love the concept but otherwise the place was pretty okay.“

“I have been a regular at FEBC since it's debut in Cheyenne at the "Tivoli-Bldg" several years ago, but have never gone so far as to write a review. The conundrum is that while their beer is mostly excellent--especially their "Flagship Ale '1890 IPA'" {WHEN they have it!}, they're service is anything but! To wit, the main 'barmaid' that they have "Muriah" is marginal at best. I guess that I could list dozens of times that I've been in there with her at the helm and have had a negative serving experience, however, it's easier for me to just give an overall rating of usually "downright rude". Without going into specific details, tonight, {St. Valentine's Day--of course!}, she was egregiously so, seemingly finding joy in attempting to demean me in front of other customers. If you don't believe me, just take a walk over to "Danielmark's Brewery", and speak to all the lovely people I've met there who no longer patronize FEBC because of her attitude/behavior! For nearly the 1 year, 10 months, she's been there I've tolerated this negativity, trying to 'kill her with kindness', but NO Longer! The 'pre-verbial' kid-gloves are off--as I am generous and NOT prone to write bad reviews. So please, I beg to owners/managers Tim, Adam, Shane & Joel--correct this ongoing problem that you have all heard about, time & again from other patrons, REGAIN lost integrity & prestige to the glorious pub you established, and rid yourselves of the 800 lb. gorilla in the room! All-the-best to FEBC! MJD “

“I tried to stop in here three years ago but they had it closed off for some event downtown. I couldn’t even get really close to the building to see inside. I had assumed that this was just some really generic brewpub. Turns out this is a pretty legit brewery with a little tasting room. A small 6 or 8 top bar is sectioned off from a few tables. One TV is up in the corner. They had maybe 8 beers on when I visited, nothing too crazy but their blood orange DIPA and coffee amber ale were really good. Full pours are $5. I was impressed, they definitely exceeded my expectations.“

“This place has more than a bit of a chain feel to it. Every inch of the place was covered with some sort of sports memorabilia, enough to induce sensory overload. Mostly restaurant tables, but there’s a bar in the back. Tap selection is far larger than your average chain, and included a number of local and regional beers. Food was OK pub grub. Worth a stop just for the tap list.“

“Small place just a couple of blocks from the center. L-shaped bar and scattered tables, clean and simple. Brewer was pouring. Flights of four or eight are available, and they had seven beers on tap, so I doubled up on the IPA which was very tasty. Dog and child friendly, as both were in attendance. Laid back crowd, mostly locals coming in for growler fills and folks in town for the festival. Food was free popcorn. Good friendly atmosphere, solid beers.“

“Huge place jam packed with stuff on the walls- largely sports oriented. I feel like this is what Johnny Rockets would look like if it were a sports bar. I enjoyed being here on a Friday night though- they had a local musician and I sat at the bar and chatted up the people on either side of me. It felt like this was the type of place that had "regulars" which I like. The service was good- she didn’t bat an eye when I ran her around asking for samples so I gave her an extra tip. She seemed to know the beer pretty well, too, though I didn’t get the sense she was a beer geek. Bonus points that the other bartender had a full-on mohawk. They had a pretty good selection of regional beers and some macro stuff, too. So you could go here with non-beer people and everyone would have something to drink. The food was full on heart attack stuff. I just had a patty melt and fries (melt good, fries meh) but the guy next to me had a tray full of steak and potatoes. So, if you are in to hearty "man" food, eat here. My bill was less than $20, so I’d say it was cheap (but I don’t know local prices).“

“A local brewery that is pretty small but comfortable. Good service with the brewer at the bar. Selection was decent, with a bunch of their different styles to try. Beer was OK, but they had some fun concepts that I think will get better as they progress. Worth a quick stop if going through.“

“I appreciate Sanford’s because they are not pretentious. They are proud to feature large portions or filling meals that are not necessarily healthy. The restaurant’s walls are completely covered in sports and other Americana memorabilia. You can get $1 pints of PBR anyday, anytime. They have other food and drink specials on various days of the week. They have a decent variety of beers on tap including macros, imports and a good number of regional breweries.“

“Freedom’s Edge will soon be moving their tap room to the site of their brewery (basically around the block). For another month or so they are still in the lovely, restored Tivoli building in downtown Cheyenne. Service was quite friendly and they had 8+ beers on tap with a nice variety of offerings. Pricing is a ok, but not cheap. $3 for 10 oz and $5 for a 20 oz. They offer growler fills as well. If you want locally brewed beer in Cheyenne, this is your one stop.“

“My wife and I enjoy visiting OC in Cheyenne whenever we have discounts and we go during happy hour. Tap selection is pretty good and they usually have 80-100 bottled beers as well, although I have had instances when they are out of a bottled beer and they don’t restock it for a month or more. Food is not bad. Service is ok, but staff could definitely use training on beer styles and current offerings.“

“Medium sized store in Cheyenne. Decent selection of bombers and they allow mixed 6 packs with a nice selection of cold beers to choose from. Overall beer selection is not overwhelming, but decent. They advertise specials about once a month, but this is usually confined to cases of macro brews.“

“Largest liquor store in Cheyenne. One wall is lined with beer coolers. They have specials every week -- usually on 12 and 24 packs only. Best selection in the area for all types of beers. No single sales except for bombers and large cans/bottles of macro/imports. Their policy of charging $2-4 more for cold beer than warm is quite irritating. Is refrigeration really that expensive?“

“Cheyenne’s second largest beer store. They sell cold beer at warm beer prices (unlike the biggest store in town). They run weekly specials, but usually those are confined to 18 and 24 packs of macro beers. They have a decent selection of bombers but the prices are pretty high. “Small store with a half decent selection in the limited space. Staff are always friendly and helpful, though not necessarily experts on beer. Two big bonuses to this shop: you can buy single beers of just about anything they offer and they provide a 10% discount for regular customers who ask for it (see their facebook page for details).“

“Visited with Bobby and Aaron. Similar selection to DT’s, perhaps a little more variety in the high priced 22oz/750ml bottle selection, but otherwise pretty much the same stuff. Lots of macro lager 12 packs and a smattering of craft 4/6/12 packs. Decent selection of northern Colorado breweries as well (almost all in 12 packs as well).“

“Visited with Aaron and Bobby on our Wyoming excursion. Huge store with a somewhat limited selection of beer. Lots of macro lager ticks available, but not available in singles, unfortunately. Some decent malt liquor offerings. A small selection of micros as well, and mostly only in 4/6/12 packs (can’t split them). A smattering of single 22/750 bottles, but these are all pretty much high priced bottles.“

“Walked up the street from Shadows with Aaron and Bobby. This place is from the school of "throw a ton of random shit on the walls" school of interior design. Jesus. A lot of taps, but about 10 of them are Bud, Miller, Coors, etc. Some local beers from Snake River, at least. Tried a few of those. Service in the bar area was quick and the prices are pretty good ($4 pints of micros). If I found myself in Cheyenne again, I suppose I’d probably come here, but it’s not an amazing place.“

“Visited October 6, 2013 with adneilson and womencantsail.

Really interesting bar in downtown Cheyenne with a lot of stuff on the walls. The place is completely full of stuff from the 50’s. Everything from Elvis to the Blues Brothers to gas pumps and various signs with clever sayings about hotrods. The servers are really young, as in we were questioning how they were legally serving us beer. Kind of creepy taking drinks from someone that looks 17. They have a lot of taps. I counted half a dozen New Belgium beers and four Snake River beers in addition to two dozen others. Sadly the Snake River taps were the only Wyoming-made beers available. We each got a pint of a different Snake River beer and hung out for a bit watching football with the other overweight locals. The Pako IPA was nice as was the pale ale. The Zonker stout was alright. I can’t picture myself being in Cheyenne again anytime soon but this is probably one of the better beer spots in town.“

“Visited October 6, 2013 with adneilson and womencantsail.

Interesting place a little ways out of the downtown. The entire wall on the right side of the store is full of beer, all in fridges. That part is nice. The crappy part is that half of those fridges are full of 12 packs and 30 packs of Anheuser and Coors products. Also, the singles selection is pretty small. I was really hoping to find some sort of mixed six packs or twelve packs of some Wyoming breweries but no such luck. I did see a few bottles from one of the local Cheyenne breweries but the imperial stout was $15/bottle, no thanks. They have plenty of Avery and New Belgium as well as a few imports, nothing amazing.“

“Visited October 6, 2013 with adneilson and womencantsail.

We pulled up on a quiet Sunday afternoon, while the rest of the town was watching football. No traffic, no other customers, plenty of parking, how could we lose? We were greeted by an elephant statue under the sign. Inside the store is split into three parts. One for beer, one for wine (which includes a small mead selection), and one for liquor. I did find several Wyoming breweries represented but only in six packs. They also had a number of Colorado breweries present and a large pile of macros in the middle of the room. I got a kick out of the camo cans of Busch. The only thing we bought was a couple of regional malt liquors to try.“

“Not many places to go in the town of Cheyenne but I guess all you need is one...and this place was good enough. Beers were super cheap coming in around $2 to $4 each. There is nostalgia all over every wall which seemed a little overkill. They could have taken half of it down and it still would have been enough. Still, the atmosphere was pretty cool. Also, you’re more likely to see families here than the nightclub scene. I didn’t see an actual bar anywhere. The food was pretty good and reasonably priced. The menu was oversized (for whatever reason) as was the silverware. Not a bad place to be if you can get past that.“

“They do a lot of aging beer here although based on some od the sell by dates on the bottles I don’t think it’s intentional. This place is part empty part, part liquor warehouse (the Lifesize statue of Jack Daniels and the large crown royal chair are especially worshiped objects )with a separate room to stack high the BMC. They had a few Colorado crafts and snake river but this is a place visit only if desperate.“

“Located in Downtown Cheyenne, this may be the coolest place in town. Located in a restored bank building it does have a bit of an old west vibe. They had 9 different on tap plus a special imperial stout. There’s no bar to speak of with people hanging out around tables. There’s also a large outdoor patio with live music. Wasn’t feeling the plastic cups but the service was otherwise good. If you have to go to Cheyenne this is the only place to be.“

“Moving to Cheyenne after living in Germany for 3 years, I was hoping to get a decent hefeweizen here in town. I was dissapointed. They carry Sierra Nevada brews, but not their tasty Kellerweis. I have since been driving to Fort Collins CO for good brews. Being close in proximity to Fort Collins, I don’t know why Cheyenne’s biggest liquor store doesn’t carry Fort Collins Brewery products. FCB Barrel Licked Bock is one xlnt beer. Oh well, see you at Wilbur’s Total Beverage in the Fort soon.“
