“best spot for beer in Town. Hard to miss, as the from is tiny shop (it is in front of Tim Horton's)...beer is at the back. Did not buy anything on that visit but if I plan so this would be my spot.“

“Nice decor...great location in Jasper...cool place to meet locals and passer's thru. Pretty much the only craftbeer game in town (drive east to Folding Mountain Brewery if you can). The beers are average at best...definitely nothing great...and maybe a town to have a steak and a glass of wine in. Wish I can say something more positive. Note that I believe they did or still do own the Banff Avenue Brewery...so keep that in mind when deciding to visit a second one of their establishments.“

“Another rice stop on our Canadian vacation. This is on a main drag in town and I could park my truck/camper and tow car just a 100’ away. The place had nice booth seating in a window and the National League playoff game was on the big screen TVs with my wife and I each facing a different one. The food was goos and the service good as well. I had samplers ...one of every thing. Basically most Canadian breweries we have visited are not known for their “big” beers and this was no exception. The best were the Pilsner and Blueberry/Vanilla Ale. The crème stout was out . Overall quite decent and if you are in the area this place is worth a stop.“

“Little store in Jasper's town center. They have some nice bottles and wine and not a lot of beers: actually, they lack a lot of local whales they should be getting right now. But staff is nice and prices are not super-high, so, in the middle of the Rockies, is like some booze oasis.“

“I never knew this place existed until my last visit to Jasper. Front of the shop is a wine shop, beer cooler in back has tons of singles and bombers. Good selection and prices that are on par with the other top beer shops in the province. Worth a stop if you plan on drinking in your hotel. No real reason to go anywhere else while you're here. DO NOT go to the shitty liquor store 2 doors down from this one thinking it is the same store.... (i did this)“

“Overhyped place with mediocre beers and crowds wanting their nightmarish Canadian burgers.Stay away .“

“A real beer gem in Jasper. Forget the quite terrible Jasper Brewing Company and get some of the best bottles in Canada to drink them at the hostel .Prices are hefty ( eg. 4 dollars higher on big bottles than in Calgary)but the selection is fantastic. “

“2017-06-20. Busy spot right in the main drag with views of the train station and the mountains. Servers were friendly, the beers show promise but were mostly just okay. Beers seem to have a bit of a house character, yeast character or maybe a touch under attenuated? I can’t quite place what it is. Dinner was very good - I had the Brewers Barley Salad with chicken which was very nice and we shared a goat cheese cheesecake for dessert that was excellent. (Seems we did better with the food than previous raters! Hopefully that means it has improved?) A giant raven landed just outside our window while we were eating! Definitely worth a visit while in town, but you come to town for the scenery not for the brewpub.“

“Went here in late July. I gotta say this place is one of the best places in AB for beer. Comparing with Sherbrooke, Willow Park, Oak and Vine, Kensington, etc. etc. This place is definitely in the same league. I found stuff here I couldn’t find at other beer stores in Calgary and I thought the AB and BC selection were FANTASTIC. If you are a tourist, even if you are traveling to other parts of Alberta (or BC), I would actually recommend loading up here. I had a hard time hardly buying anything (cause I already bought too much) and just walked out with Persephone’s Keller Pils and Brewster’s BA Imperial Stout. A MUST for not only Jasper but for Western Canada.“

“This is one great bottle shop with an extensive selection of Canadian, American and Scandinavian beers. Enthusiastic and knowledgable owner steered me toward a couple of local rarities. The beers are in a cooler which rules out looking any of the offerings up on ratebeer. You might want to wear a jacket if you plan on lingering, which you will want to do.“

“Centrally located across from the train station with ample parking. Pleasant building with open beams and exposed stone. Seven beers on the menu but two had kicked. Decent beers.“

“Not a bad little sports bar on Jasper’s main drag. They do the sampler thing like down in Banff too, and the beer quality is similar (but the brews are different). Food was not bad but not great, okay staff, good place to sample some local beers if you’re in the area.“

“Place was a bit too noisy for me. A sportsbar with a lot of TV’s and the music on the radio pumping out of the speakers. Yet it had a nice athmosphere (if you delete the noise). Lovely bottle-filled wall and spacious bar. Fast and friendly service, and finally someone not to pushy. Price was very good. 6 tasters for 14 CAD. We had Poutine to eat. Apparently a typical Canadian dish. It was ok, but since it’s the first time I eat it, I could not compare. Yet as a Belgian I think it’s weird to drench you fries in a sauce full of cheese. Anyway, I liked it. “

“At the back of the store is a walk in fridge, with a very fine choice of Canadian, US & European bottled beers. I was like a kid in a sweet shop! Had a good chat with the owner who is obviously enthusiastic about great beer. I found more than enough to keep me happy but he asked if I was going to be in town the following day as there was a huge delivery arriving! Sadly I was moving on. Great find in this beautiful little town“

“Basically a carbon copy of the Banff Ave brewpub. Same mediocre quality of beer and fairly steep prices. Nice comfortable interior and very friendly service. Certainly worth a stop in this tourist trap.“

“Nice place to stop in Jasper for some fresh locally brewed beer. Can be sure to always have a good time and get some decent beers too. Their IPA and Stout are definitely their 2 best beers but for a guy who likes bigger beers I was impressed with their Pilsner and Cream ale. For something different the blueberry vanilla is a very artificially flavored beer however it is very well balanced between the flavors and beer. Service is something to be desired...especially if its a Friday/Saturday night and then a Sunday morning as Jasper turns into a party town and there’s usually always a party going on here. Staff seems overwhelmed however it is still a fun place to be. Food is average and good but being the same owners as the one in Banff I don’t understand why they don’t have the wicked menu that they have there.“

“A small walk in cooler in the back had typical macros and big import brands, but some well thought out selections from Dieu De Ciel, Phillips, Rogue, Brooklyn, Deschutes and Mill St. to name a few. Selections were mostly available in sixers, a few singles were available as well (some good Trou Du Diable and Phillips bombers). Prices seem in line with larger Alberta cities. A decent store in a place that doesn’t have a lot of selection. Non Canadians should be able to find some good Canadian stuff to rate here.“

“Environment is rustic sports bar. Service is efficient but they know nothing about beer, every question had to go back to get answered. Beer is decent. Food was sub par. Banff does a much better job.“

“Nice place to stop in Jasper. It is large and comfortable and they brew some good beers. Their limited edition beers are often quite impressive and seem to be unknown to the masses.“

“This is mostly a wine & liquor place but the beer walk-in freezer is small but very packed with quality selections. Prices look pretty good compared to BC and there is no ****ing HST to deal with here.“

“7 beers were available on my visit. The beers are average to good, all unfiltered, and they pretty much stick to session styled beers, no really big brews here, That said, make sure you try the Rock Hopper IPA and the 6060 Stout. Some beers are served on nitro. Food was decent pub fare, good sized portions, served in a reasonable amount of time. Beers sampler trays available in, 6oz glasses. Growlers available to go.“

“May 2007: Jasper’s a classy little town on the tundra and JBC is a classy little brewpub in this frontier town. With all the schnaz of a big city brewpub and some good beers to boot, this is a great place to visit and an added reason to stretch your Canadian Rockies visit as far north as Jasper. All 6 beers were above average, the food was good and the service was spot-on. What else do you want? Highly recommended!“
